The set of two sketchbook journals came, and as other reviewers said.. the label said "lined".. but I had ordered blank. So of course, I was concerned.. however, after removing the plastic, they were in fact "blank" as I had ordered.. so very relieved. These notebooks are very sturdy and the paper is a pleasing kind of off-white, slight ivory color. Although the paper isn't thick, for what I wanted I am confident it will serve the purpose. I plan to do sketches and light watercolor washes in these books and don't mind a little bit of "crinkle".. and I have been known to get out my mini iron to flatten the pages a bit if needed. I honestly plan to order more because they are very well made, and for the price, you will not find better. Bravo to the manufacturer. ... show more
