Finally, a pretty, stylish and well-consttucteded men's cowboy boot in a size 14XW. This is my husband's first pair of cowboy boots and he is very pleased with the style and fit. The grey color is dressy enough to wear with a suit and cowboy enough for jeans.

I like these boots. They have a broken in feel right out of the box. The only thing I would change is the boot collar size. The XW has a really wide boot collar, so much so that I took them to a shoe repair shop and had them cut 2 1/2" wedge out of the side so it fits better under my pants better. I guess the manufacturer thinks that with a wide foot come a really huge calf of the leg. Not in my case for sure. I intend to buy other types of cowboy boots from this manufacturer.

I wanted another pair of cowboy boots. The others I have are Ariat. They are too tight. I wear an 11.5D. I can't wear wide I tried. But I thought I'd give Laredo a try because a buddy of mine said his fit great and were just a hit looser than Ariat. The Laredo's arrived today. I am very impressed. The fit is as it should be. I even joked with my wife I may even wear them to bed. That was just a joke. But I do really like the look and fit of these boots. Great support also.

If you’re an 11.5 but wear 12 because you have an elephant foot where it’s as wide as it is long, for supporting your beautiful strong independent body, don’t go size up on these boots. They will fit your feet at your actual size, socks and all. Even with wool socks too, a little tight for wool socks, but it all fits. Get the X-Wide. :PComfortable fit, but the sole is non existent for support, get yourself a pair of good soles to counter the heel, unless you like your entire skeleton rattling with each heel step, I’d recommend better soles. But other than all that, solid boots. This is my first time buying “cowboy boots” and I’ve limited experience with boots, but, so far so good. Y’all take care!
