First off, while they aren't real leather, you'd be hard pressed to tell. The black took a real good shine, and they're still looking great. The little metal accents may try to work themselves loose-mine did not. The only thing I will say, while the size is dead on, the width isn't the greatest. This could be a fault of the boot, or the design of the pointed toe, I'm sure it's a combination of the two. Whatever your width, go one size up and you'll be good to go. As can be seen in the photographs, the metal embellishments are held on solely by a single nail at each end. On the second wearing, one of the nails popped and of course I can't find it. It seems that I will need to apply glue to reinforce, once I find a replacement nail. The other issue is that I purchased the same size 11D boot that I always wear, and this pair is too large. Not too long, but my foot swims around unless I wear very heavy, or multiple pairs of socks. I'm purchasing additional leather insoles but I would have preferred them to fit the way my other boots have. ... show more
