  • As usual, the Dummies are better organized than most
You gotta love a book that has 10 books in one. Not quite as physically compact as an e-book containing the same material, but it lives up to the For Dummies series' motto "Making Everything Easier!" (I can't believe they trademarked that phrase.) It's helping me to be less intimidated by my little laptop. In fact, the darned book is thicker than my laptop. As technology eclipses the traditional dissemination of information, and as everything we learn becomes obsolete within a few months, I'm grateful for books such as Laptops All-In-One for Dummies to help those of use who can't read tiny type to keep up with the pace of life. ... show more

  • worth the reasonable cost
Another good reference book, for someone like me, just getting started with computers. Concise, and fairly well explained ,for general knowledge about laptops

  • What I was looking For.
Well written, easy to use. Those of us who grew up before computers were a household item have questions that sometimes are difficult to put into tech geek language. I know what I want to ask, just don't know how to ask it. Book covered everything, easy to use.

  • Very Old & out of Date
This is a very old and out of date book, copyrighted in 2010. That makes it 14years--much to old to be of much value.
