As someone who does a lot of work in the IT world, having two extra screens is incredibly convenient. I've been seeing a lot of people with a 3-screen setup, and I finally went for it and got one. Being able to see different aspects of the work simultaneously is great. Video conferences and presentations are really important, but I can see how it'd be useful for those who are into that. I did test it out by making some video conferences, and it worked well. There was no freezing or buffering, and the picture was completely clear. The setup, at first, was a little confusing. There are a bunch of cables you have to get right. That being said, I had to contact the seller for help, and they were very nice, helpful, and responsive. Make sure you have the available ports to connect both screens. I didn't when I first purchased it. *IMPORTANT* You need TWO USB ports (2 USB to USB-C cables are included) and TWO HDMI to HDMI ports, so a total of 4 ports are needed to work with both monitors. I had to purchase a USB to HDMI adapter because my laptop only had 1 HDMI port. The design is practical, which I appreciate. The kickstand and fixing frame make it easy to set up, and the rubber mats are a nice touch for protecting my laptop. The fact that I can fold it up and slip it into a bag is nice. It's a little heavy, but it's two monitors, so it's to be expected. They do include a fairly well-made carrying case that holds both monitors and has a pouch for the multiple cables. As for the compatibility aspect, I have a 14" screen, and it fits my laptop just fine. It is a little heavy, so you definitely will need to have it sitting on a table or desk so you can use the kickstand, or it will pull your screen back. It is plug-and-play; no extra drivers are needed. Just connect and go. I highly suggest the people to buy if they need multi monitors.
