Great backpack for work or for a carry-on piece of luggage. Like others, mine had tanning the would rub off. two bouts with saddle soap and some baseball glove conditioner and the problem is solved. I've had it more than a year and it looks better every day. People ask me about it constantly, that's actually what reminded me to write this review - a co-worker asked where I got it, so I looked at my past orders to send him the link. Update: the seller refunded our money for the back pack. We are very thankful as it was outside the return window. Original review; The backpack has stained the back of my daughters clothing. I ordered this before she left for college and now it is out of the 30 day window to get a refund. I’ve contacted seller.

The bag is the beautifullest and the the bestest but the zippers are the weakest link, after a year of moderate use, the very sturdy, heavy duty, brass look zippers need to be replaced. With the heavy leather, I know that I or we will be able to find help at an old school shoe repair shop.....

It's a beautiful backpack. The zippers are fine, but nothing to write home about. Some of the smaller pockets are a bit too small. Most important to note is that it WILL stain all of your clothes if you do not thoroughly clean the straps before wearing. I would understand if this were a $40 knockoff, but when I spend $200 on a product I expect it to be ready to go. Maybe that's just me.

Fantastic backpack! I have been looking for a high quality leather backpack that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg and I think I've got it. The leather definitely looks and feels like the thick full grain that was advertised. It also has that nice leather smell, idk if other people will like the smell but I definitely do. I was worried with such nice leather that the zippers would be where corners were cut but it definitely doesnt feel that way. They're smooth and sturdy and don't feel like they'll break on me anytime soon. **Edit July 29, 2022 I've had this bag for a year now and it's still going strong. I take this to work with me everyday and do not baby it in the slightest anymore. Zippers are still smooth and I still get compliments on it. It does have some natural wear on the leather from my nails and being set down but it doesn't take away from the look and if anything adds to it. I do treat the leather once every 6 months but that's about it.
