These towels are serviceable but are no where near luxury towels. They are midlevel towels. Their weight is about 1.2 pounds (gsm estimated between 400 and 500). Below 400 is a low quality towel. Luxury towels weight from 2-4 pounds, the higher the weight the better. If you want to impress guests, these won't do it. For an everday bath towel, they're ok.
