I read reviews before buying stuff on Amazon. Some of the reviews said how thin the towels were so they sent them back. Others said they really fluff up after washing and drying them. When I received them I thought they were about the flattest towels I had ever bought. Not impressive at all. Had I not read the comments about washing them before sending them back, I would have not kept them. After I washed and dried them one time they became the fluffiest, most absorbent towels you could hope for. Incredibly soft. And, of course, I kept them. We have had these towels a few weeks now and im very happy with them. They are extremely soft. They look beautiful in our newly renavated bathroom. Yes, they have a lot of lint the first wash and still a bit more than normal the 2nd which I would expect with new towels.

No, Seriously. Read the instructions. I almost returned them when they first arrived as they seemed flimsy and thin. But, it says to wash them and boy are they AWESOME! Washing first really does make a difference. Very nice feel and works well.
