These towels are very soft. After the first wash they were fabulous with water absorbancy. Alot of towels take many washes to be the perfect fabric. These don't and they also look very nice.

I was so happy when I first received my chocolate colored towels. I rarely buy new linens so it was especially wonderful to discover that they were a gorgeous color, and to me, an ideal weight, texture, and size. Even my rancher husband commented on his approval. Unfortunately, after 3-4 washes strange random pulls appeared on all the towels. They haven’t developed into actual holes or anything, but they aren’t pretty, either, and it’s way too early in the game for this sort of thing to happen. They are still functional and we’ll use them, but won’t buy again. For context, we are older adults and laundry is done appropriately with due care and good detergent. Nothing occurred on the user end that should have caused the damage to these towels. Our last set of Good Housekeeping approved towels lasted us ten years. ... show more
