I recommend watching a YouTube on tips and tricks for paint by numbers! Very helpful. You will need to iron out the little crinkles, and purchase a magnifying glass. (There are EXTREMELY tiny spots) I am still working on this and actually bought some glow in the dark paint for the moon, etc.. I also recommend buying some nail decorating brushes and sticks too. AFTER PURCHASING A SMALLER PAINT BY NUMBERS I NEED A REST TO START THIS....I WAS GOING TO GIVE TO MY MOM IN LAW BUT SHE NEEDS MY HELP & SUPPORT DOING THESES AND I NEED A BREATHER AFTER THE OTHER ONE I PAINTED...BUT INSTEAD GAVE A PRINT TO EACH OF MY FRIENDS AND MAYBE THEY HAVE PATIENCE & THESE LOOK VERY NICE AND THE NUMBERS ARE SLIGHTLY BIGGER!!!! I completed this painting today. I did enjoy it. It took me about 10 days and that's painting several hours a day because there's just so much detail! However, I am a little disappointed. The paints aren't near as vibrant as the photo and therefore, the painting isn't as striking. The yellows and the greens are quite lovely, but none of the blues shine as much and so the moon glow on the creek doesn't have much of an effect. It's too bad as this painting had a lot of potential. The quality of the paints themselves were just fine--very usable and if they dried in the pots a little, I just added a drop or two of water and stirred with a toothpick. I had more than enough to complete the painting. I want to make it clear that if they dried any, it was because I had opened them and was using them for a long period of time. One thing that really pleased me was the clarity of the paint numbers on the canvas. I occasionally had to refer to the photo I took at the start of the project, but this was, by far and so far, the best I’ve seen. The included paintbrushes are terrible. I just threw them away and used the better ones I already have for such projects. ... show more

These are not kits I’d recommend anyone START their paint-by-numbers journey on because of the intricate painting required unless you’re already a painter. You can see the colors they actually are compared to the photo. Enough paint came with the canvas and the brushes were OK, although for the finer bits I used another set of paint brushes I had. I have done a lot of these paint by numbers prints and this by far one of worst brands. The lines are super dark which means you need paint over it a few times to cover the darkness and the numbers are so blurry it’s impossible to tell what some of them are. The chart they provide is the size of a credit card and absolutely no help. This is by far a cheap version of what you get with Artist’s Loft. ... show more
