This product is much lighter than I was expecting it to be. The tube itself is sturdy but really light. The bracket has two separate screws which allows the tube or the item you fasten it to to be adjusted independently. That's a good design so that everything isn't sliding all around when you want to make adjustments to one thing or another. There are a lot of things this item could be used for. I am actually going to mount it to guitar stand for now and attach an articulating arm with a smallrig-style photo clamp to it and my Tascam DR-5X recorder so I can record demos quick and easily. I'll probably move it over to my mountain bike if my crazy guitar stand contraption doesn't need it. It's a good item at a fair price. I would order it again, -M-

I ride recumbent bikes/trikes, all of which have the handlebars running UNDER the seats. Because of that, there is literally no way to use them for mounting accessories. In the past I have purchased extenders that were MUCH more expensive. The Lamicall Bike Handlebar Extender is a fantastic option with a much better price tag. The extender comes in a small box with the mount unassembled. There is a small hex wrench included as well as an instruction booklet. The booklet is all in (what I believe to be Chinese) but that's not an issue since this requires ZERO instructions to assemble. There are two separate screws which is great as it means you can adjust either the positioning of the mount on your handlebars or the placement of the tube separately without having everything moving as it would with a single screw. The handlebar clamp is larger and comes with two pads on the inside so you can use one or, in my case, both, to secure it where it won't move at all. Unfortunately, there is no rubber pad for the upper section where the bar is inserted and it is going to scratch easily when moving the tube through the clamp. Not a big deal, but not ideal either. Once tightened down this unit will not be moving. I applied a lot of pressure trying to pull it downward and it didn't move at all. If you are looking to mount your light, camera, computer or anything else to your handlebars, the Lamicall unit is a perfect solution. It is lighter than others I have used, MUCH less expensive but still feels very well made. Definitely worth the $17 asking price (on sale for $13 at the time of this review). I will be purchasing more for my other two bikes as well!

Nice little addition to my ebike for nearly nothing. The reason why I wanted a handlebar extender is because the ebike power button/power control, and horn/turn signal/light are already mounted on the left side handlebar. I was out of space to mount a handlebar mirror. I don't want to use bar end mirrors because it adds to the width and reduces the side clearance. This little device allows me to mount a regular mirror without having to go to the bar ends style mirrors, or shift the ebike controllers to the right and further from my hand. My worry was that the gap between the bar extension would be too close to the handle to allow for my hand to access the handle and brake, but that was not a concern whatsoever. There ended up being plenty of gap between the main handle and the handle extension. A little thing that was concerning is that the way the top ring and bottom ring are gapped (at an angle). With this setup, if the top ring is not tightened down low enough, it might prevent the bottom ring from closing all the way because they could potentially impinge on one another. After mounting, the mirror is even higher than original, which seems like a benefit for now. My worry is that it may cause more vibration with the added junctions. After testing it out, I verified that there is some added vibration, but within expectations and still inside usable range. All in all, not a bad little addition if you want to mount something small, like a GPS speedometer/light. A side view mirror is about the heaviest thing I would try on this extension. I suppose you can mount a cell phone on this extender if you are daring, but I would personally get a larger extender bar with two connections if I was to put something that heavy on it.

I like this smaller size extender bar for my e-bike, this mounted easily across my mid bar area, and provide the needed space for my action camera. the included mount fits easily without slippage.

I'm using this as a bracket to mount a headlight in the center position on my e-bike. The item is a simple two piece bracket design made from durable aluminum and composite plastic. Extender is very simple and quick to mount. Stays firmly in place when both hex screws are tightened. The 4" mounting tube could be used a mount for a GoPro camera, cell phone, or multiple other small bike accessories. Simple item that solves a particular need.
