Well made, works fine, but- in the 2 weeks i had dozens of times the chalk falls off. Finally it was lost. Now its a nice fridge magnet. Will need something tethered for me.

Fits a predator chalk perfectly. The clip isnt very strong and holds with soft movement. Clip on a belt strap or something for extra support to hold. The chalk though fits perfectly and will not go anywhere.

This chalk holder is easy to use and holds the chalk perfect. You can clip it almost anywhere. The magnets hold well. I'm a klutz and walk into things so I kept knocking it off my pocket. I either clip it to my sleeve or a shirt pocket.

Not a great pool player, but I am up on the technology. I have tried the “posh” anodized aluminum chalk holders but they generally require chalk in the shape of a cylinder and that type is non obtainium at the local senior centers where I play. Then I thought of buying some myself but the price was outlandish. Enter this one. The main parts appear to be made out of fiber reinforced plastic that came out of an injection moulding machine. Well made. The chalk holder relies on friction and lacks the grub screw found on the posh units. Works for me. You could use a bit of double sided tape if your cube is a little recalcitrant. The rare earth magnet helps to hold the clam shell halves onto the pants (works with a coil spring) and also holds the chalk holder to the clam shell. I did adjust the clam shell hinge pin but that was mainly because I could. I do not think there would have been an issue if I left it alone. Yes, more pricey units are available, but you can’t go wrong with this one and it makes use of the cube shaped chalk that use masses depend on.

This is one excellent chalk holder. It magnetically clips to your belt, pockets, shirt hem, etc., and is very secure. The chalk holder itself magnetically holds tight to the clip. The magnets are very strong and holds both the clip in place and the chalk in place. It comes in octagon or square and holds the chalk firmly. I frequently found my previous chalk holder on the floor having slipped out of my pocket. Not this one! It will stay exactly where you put it and will hold tight. Your chalk will be exactly where you placed it every time you go to use it--basically, for each and every shot. I am more than pleased with this chalk holder.

Picked this up to use during pool league and while it does the job it's not in a good fit for me as the magnet is not super strong and at 5'10" my pocket where it clips is right at table level so any time I brush it against the table the chalk pops off the magnet
