It’s not bonsai wire, that was the main reason I got the kit, i but the wire is just regular garden wire not aluminum training wire

Great beginner kit. Tools seem like everything a newbie needs at a pretty good price. The wire though is just for show. Isn’t good for anything but smallest of trig branches. Need better wire in kit for 5 stars. But good price for basic tools to get you going.

The tools are great, the wire left much to be desired. It was more like bread tie wire. Will not work on a sturdier trunk.

I bought this kit as one of my husband's birthday gifts. (He picked it out.) He was very disappointed. According to him, the tweezers don't work and he feels that the kit was "cheaply made." Enough said.
