I don't buy "wide" shoes and yet these were still way too snug. Not sure if a larger size would have really solved the issue since they didn't seem to SHORT, just too narrow. They did arrive as pictured, so if you have a narrow foot, they may be perfect for you. Just don't trust the "fits as expected" prompt. I returned these and went with a different brand.
