Athletic shoe agility meets rubber boot utility. The LaCrosse Men’s Alpha Agility 17” 800g Insulated Hunting Boots empowers you to cover more ground in greater comfort than ever before. Thanks to its light weight, flexibility, and comfort, this boot is the perfect blend of waterproof hunting boots and athletic shoes. It begins with premium hand-laid rubber over 5mm of naturally insulating neoprene so you know they'll be waterproof and durable. A jersey knit comfort liner dries quickly and wicks moisture, keeping your feet dry and comfortable. Designed with an Active Fit, the Alpha Agility boots deliver a secure and comfortable fit to keep your foot in place on the move. The specially designed Agility Outsole provides ample traction while protecting your feet with our lightweight LXA compound. A layer of 800g Thinsulate Ultra insulation will keep your feet warm in temperatures as cold as -50F. And of course, our signature adjustable gusset fits any size calf snugly and securely.

    • Such Awesome Boots! Buy Them!
I have been a huge fan of Lacrosse boots ever since I bought my first pair about a decade ago. But the most amazing thing about Lacrosse is: they never get tired of improving their products! Every time I think they have made the most awesome hunting/foraging boot in the world, they always make it better. With the kind of use I put these to, I usually manage to get a few years out of each pair before the neoprene wears out in the high-wear areas. Just over the heel in particular. Eventually I will try to pull them on and that whole area will rip out. But that's not the fault of the boots by any means. It just means they got used properly. Climbing over stacks of wet logs in pursuit of chanterelles. Stumbling around in coast range forests stalking elk. Jump-hunting upland birds after a good hard rain. Thrashing my way through the inevitable blackberry thickets for the thousandth time on our local WMU in pursuit of quail, wood ducks, snipe. The boots are as close to indestructible as you can get. They don't come any tougher, and they don't come any more responsive or comfortable, that is a fact. Irish Setter, Rocky, Muck, Boggs. None of them can touch my Lacrosses. There are no downsides about these boots. They will always keep your feet warm, provided you wear the right socks (Browning wool hunting socks are a good bet). They will always keep your feet dry, provided you don't wade into water that goes deeper than the top of the cuff. And even if you do get into water over 17" in depth, they will still keep your feet dryer than anything else, and they are easy to get on and off even when wet. The camo is good, so you won't get busted by furtive game animals. The armor is excellent, so branches and stumps and chunks of basalt that would normally rip you a new one will glance off the boot without tearing your flesh and leaving scars. I can't tell you all the time I have taken a tumble in our Coast Range woods, just gone ass-over-teakettle in some godforsaken bog, smashed my leg into some sharp and unseen object and thought to myself: "Jesus, if I had been wearing any other boots, I would be bleeding all over the place right now!" This is the Gods Honest Truth. Fork over the loot and buy yourself a pair of Lacrosse. I guarantee, you will never think of going back. I don't have much brand loyalty to anything these days -- even Nike makes me go "ho-hum" -- but don't ever talk smack about my Lacrosse. "Love" is a strong word to use for a pair of hunting boots. But my Lacrosse are worthy. ... show more

    • Perfect hunting boot for cold conditions
Fits my larger calf better than most boots of this type and not too heavy. They are plenty warm for cold temperatures. I have worn them in 40 degree weather and 5 degree (Fahrenheit) and they are plenty warm. The only downside was they did make my feet sweat a little on those 40 degree days. Wore them 10 days straight while hunting rough terrain, mud, and 8"+ water in some spots. My last pair of LaCrosse hunting boots lasted 15 years (and are still wearable) so I am not surprised that these were an excellent choice. ... show more

I really like this boot. Excellent build, tall, warm, and waterproof, and they look great. I found the insoles to be cupped a bit, higher toward the edge of the boot than in the center. That isn’t something I’ve experienced with any other boot. I didn’t notice too much after having them on for a while. What I did notice was the blood from falling all the time.
