But this one surprised us — in the best way. We were resetting a corner of our tiny home for a more minimal, focused workflow. Something compact, functional, and sturdy enough to feel like it belonged. This desk checked all those boxes. Assembly was fast and painless. No missing hardware. No crumbly panels. No extra tools needed. Once built, it felt solid — not heirloom-level, but absolutely sturdy enough for everyday use. And in a home where every item earns its spot, that’s what matters. The narrow design is worth noting. If you’ve got a deep monitor or dual-screen setup, you might feel the squeeze. But in our little corner, it actually made the space feel more open and intentional. There are two riser shelves — we’re only using one for the monitor. The second is a thoughtful touch: extra storage without visual clutter. Now, the fabric drawers? They look great and blend well, but we’re keeping an eye on long-term durability. We may reinforce them later, but for now, they’re doing their job — and they weren’t enough to knock a star off. I am very happy with this desk purchase. First, the manufacturing tolerances are excellent, which makes assembly a breeze. The instructions a very good as well but pay close attention to part orientation. When putting the desk top pieces on, leave every screw a little loose so you can put all of them in before final tightening. I like the design of this desk and it fits nicely in my office. The power outlet is convenient, and the rustic brown finish looks attractive. The shelves and storage space also make it functional for work or gaming. However, the drawers are made of cloth material instead of wood, which makes them feel a little cheap. The desk also ended up being shorter than I imagined, so it doesn’t offer as much surface space as I wanted. This desk is perfect size for my small home office. Instructions for putting it together are pretty simple, except for the rails for the drawers. We figured it out, but the pictures are not very clear. One of the shelves is coming apart on the front side. I also wish the stands for the monitors weren't just one size. These make my monitors too high, do I don't use them. Overall, I am pleased. Edit: the file folder drawer is not wide enough for standard file folders. I have to out them in diagonally. ... show more

It’s not luxury furniture, but it is really functional. Easy instructions to follow and took less than an hour to assemble alone. I would prefer if the drawers were solid vs the canvas, but that is my only complaint about this desk. It’s a good size and can be built to be left or right facing. Buyer beware! I purchase this desk for my living room. I was excited about it because it was the perfect size for the space and the work I need to do in it. Desk gets delivered.... No instructions! After a mild panic attack I reached out to the seller they directed me to a link to their website with the PDF instructions for this model of desk. I was also able to find the instruction manual in the product description here on Amazon. UNFORTUNATELY! The part labels on the instructions did not match the item that was sent to. After another panic attack and mental breakdown lol. I realized that the desk in the instructions was SIMILAR enough for me to reverse engineer the instructions and put the desk together. There were some minor difference in the instruction manual and the product I actually received, but I was handy enough to figure it out and still put together the desk. I am satisfied with the desk, it's decent for the price. But it was pain in the butt to basically put together blind.
