Color of these platinum extensions are beautiful. Quality seems very good on them as well. Definitely not made for baby fine thin hair. I bought the U extensions and my hair stylist put them in. 16 of them fell out the day after they were put in. I then had her cut most of the length off and take them to my chin, 5 fell out very early the next day after cutting them. I bought the shortest ones at 14 inches and cut them to about 6 inches and they still fell out. I want to believe it’s due to my fine baby hair but who knows maybe the keratin. I have no way of knowing. I want to try the nano extensions but honestly afraid to waste more money and have them not stay in a day. I bought two packs.

I purchased another brand prior to these ones that was well rated and had a nice color variety to match. The quality was nowhere close to these. They are extremely durable. They aren't as bulky and feel lightweight compared to the others. After trimming them, they look perfect. The others were choppy and blunt when cut. I forget I have extensions in. They feel like my hair. It doesn't feel like I have anything on unless i touch them while styling or washing. They have a very natural weight and feel. I think they do put product on them when packaging to make them look and feel silky so I did a clarifying shampoo treatment and that seemed to do the trick.

Over the last 15 years I have tried every brand on Amazon from Laavoo, Ugeat, YoungSee, Moreso and more. I also have Bellami, Cashmere, Vario and a few others I purchased direct. What I will say is that Amazon is always by far the cheapest, but it’s hit or miss on quality. I have tried tape, sew ins and iTip/micro link hair extensions. iTip/micro links are by far the best for a natural look and you can treat your hair like your own hair without extensions falling out. Washing your hair is no problem and you can do up-do’s like ponytails. I typically keep them in for about 6 weeks. Main issue is you have to learn how to style your hair so the beads don’t show. Part of the trick is making sure you know what you are doing when you install them. The micro link was a great upgrade to the iTips, since it saved you from having to bead and thread your hair. You can literally part your hair, loop and clamp. With all that being said, here is what I have experienced on these brands on Amazon. I typically weigh a couple extensions when I get them to see if they are even close to 50g and they are usually lighter. Sometimes you get a batch that is close enough so it doesn’t matter. Others times they are half the weight and I send them back. They are always typically an inch or so shorter than the length listed. Plus they are so thin at the ends I would recommended buying a length that you can cut at least an inch or 2 off to get your desired length. That will ensure you have a thicker look at the bottom and not straggly. In my opinion, LaaVoo is more consistent than the other brands on here regarding weight. Where they are worse is their bead quality. Not all beads are made with the same quality material. After a while on your head, the rubber in the bead can turn into a glue like substance. That in turn dries up and can look like dandruff. Again it’s hit or miss on the pack if you get decent beads or not. The only way to pick your own, is to go back to the iTips. I have noticed that the black hair tends to have higher quality beads than the blonde colors (that may just be a fluke). In one picture we got a true brunette color to mix in and the beads were disintegrating after a couple washes. In the end I still primarily buy from Amazon as the price is worth the risk for me. I just return them if they aren’t what they are suppose to be. The actual quality of the hair is pretty close to the more expensive brands when you get the actual weight and you cut off the ends. Picture #1: Is showing how these have held up after 2 installations. Once we install them, I always do a basic trim on the bottom. Then I use a razor to blend layers from the start of the natural hair to the bottom of the extensions. Picture #2: It’s hard to show how bad those beads fell apart after 1 use and how gross they were. We ended up throwing away all of the brown extensions. Picture #3: Picture to show how good the extensions can look! 3 Stars because you would hope you would always get 50g per extension and the right length. However, if you know how to work around the short comings of these brands, you can save some money. Disclaimer: My experience is based upon my own use and putting them in my daughters hair as well. I purchased all hair extensions and was not compensated in any way.

I got the nano bead hair in P8-24. I am very impressed with the quality. I've used 2 packs so far and already the hair is thick enough to wear (though I'll be installing the third pack tomorrow too). I've tried all the big companies like Bellami and Glam Seamless and this hair seems just as good. Really pleased with my purchase! Will definitely be buying again.
