This is my fourth time with extensions like these. These are by far the nicest clamp-in extensions I have used to date. They are soft, both out of the package and during wear. I am going to include some tips that I have learned from having this type of extension: Extensions of any kind can be an investment and a lot of work, but I have found these to be more so. You will likely need to invest in good products to help maintain the life of these. If you have short hair like mine (pixie cut) and you want to use these to go from short to long hair, you'll likely need 3+ bundles. Prewash all of your extensions. They come out of the package with a lot of extra dye on them that I found to be very irritating if not washed out before install. I usually prewash, condition and flat iron. I recommend having someone help you install these, especially for the back portion of your hair. Reserve at least 5 or 6 extra extensions in the event you have an extension break and need to replace it. Usually this will happen at the metal clamp. Start with an incredibly clean hair base. Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo and get your hair nice and clean. Try not to leave any oils in your hair. I have found that this will help them stay in better and greatly reduce slide-outs. If you are doing your full head, allow yourself a few days to install these, doing just a few rows per day. These can become heavy in the hair really fast, especially if you have short hair are are adding long extensions. They can be painful to sleep on the first few nights while you get used to them, so I recommend planning accordingly. Invest in a good wide tooth comb. Brushing with a regular brush can pull them out. Try to only shampoo your hair once every few days as too much washing will make them look worn much faster. Invest in a good dry shampoo, these can make your scalp very oily. Conversely, the ends of these extensions tend to look a little stringy by the end of the day. I have found that a bit of leave in conditioner on the ends helps with this. Remember to regularly care for your scalp. Dandruff is not uncommon with this type of extension. Sleep with these in a braid as they knot and tangle very easily while you sleep and the knots can be harder than normal hair to get out. If you have very short hair like mine, it can be difficult to hide the clamps. With my hair in particular, I have found it nearly impossible to hide every single clamp. I use root touch up spray and bobby pins to attempt to hide them but it is not always possible. This is something to consider if you have very short hair. Overall, I love the color and feel of these extensions and will likely return to this seller and this brand, just be prepared to show these some extra TLC. ... show more

I don’t normally write reviews but WOW I absolutely LOVE these extensions!!! The quality of these is insane and they’re so easy to put in! I am obsessed with my hair! BUT I will say I ordered 4 packs, 3 came with clear loops to pull your hair through and they were phenomenal but one pack came with black loops and immediately I could tell the quality of the hair was not really the same. Quite a few of the black loops broke too when trying to pull my hair through but thankfully I was able to push the clear loops through and still use them. If all 4 packs would have been the ones with the black loops this probably wouldn’t be such a great review. It seems like the ones with black loops aren’t the same quality for some reason? ... show more

Overall this hair worked well and looked great. Started to get hard to maintain and tangly after about 6 weeks. Needed to be moved up so removed all together. Will update if I put them back in on if they are smooth or tangly again.

Just got them installed but I am a hairstylist and so far these are thick, they blended with my hair so well as you can see from the pictures and I only used 2 packages. I’ll check back in once I see how long and well they wear.

I'm a regular shopper from Amazon and have purchased hair extensions from more than one brand, but I really want to say, choose LaaVoo, you won't regret it. I've bought many types of extensions, ponytail hair extensions, clip in hair extensions, fishline hair extensions, etc. I love trying out a variety of styling styles, and their extensions are available in color and quality to suit my needs. But that doesn't mean that I haven't bought bad quality hair from LaaVoo, a lot of hair loss and serious tangles, but when I encountered these problems, their customer service helped me solve the problem in a timely manner and helped me re-hair got new hair. I have bought many times, but only once the product quality is very poor, there are many possibilities. Their customer service explained to me that because every extension is artificially programmed, deviations happen from time to time, which I think is understandable. We all make mistakes at work, especially when weaving hair is so delicate . Another possibility is that I received a return from another customer. I have encountered this situation many times, and I am even used to it. But no matter what, they helped me solve the problem very well, and I got new hair of great quality, which I still use to this day. Fishing line hair extensions are not a category for self-installation, so I suggest you go to a barber or find someone else to help you. As an experienced person, I have a couple of pieces of advice: First, don't use high heat to straighten or curl your extension, that will definitely hurt the extension. Second, wash your hair with a neutral shampoo, as too much acid or alkaline can damage extensions. Third, fishing line hair will need about 3-4 packs to cover the whole head, so you have to be prepared that they are not thick enough. Fourth, after installing the extension, don't let it touch the water in the swimming pool, that water contains chemicals, which will also harm the extension (this is what I have experienced, and only know after asking the seller). Fifth, if you are buying LaaVoo for the first time, or using the extension for the first time, I suggest that you can ask the seller to match the color for you to prevent ordering the wrong color. Sixth, use a wide-tooth comb whe n combing them, gently combing through the ends, loving it as you would your own hair. Seventh, the cleaning frequency should not be too high, 1-2 times a week. This is a brand I would definitely recommend, especially for customer service. We all love talking to friendly and kind people, and LaaVoo's customer service is just that. I have contacted them many times and they have always been patient and kind to me, which really means a lot to me. You can buy with confidence, even if you buy a product of poor quality or the wrong color, they will solve the problem for you very well. I will always trust LaaVoo. ... show more
