I am a hair extension enthusiast and a professional hair stylist. Let me tell you my story and my opinion from a professional perspective! For the past 3 years, the whole world has been in a state of turmoil. Unfortunately, I was infected with COVID. And as a woman who loves beauty, the sequelae brought about by COVID have slight hair loss, which makes me feel very scared and inferior. It was devastating. A friend recommended I try black hair extensions human hair until my hair started to come back. I had never had extensions, and I definitely was afraid of the idea of doing themself having already lost so much of my pretty hair. The local salon wanted over a thousand dollars for tape in hair extensions, I found out they got the hair from LAAVOO, and that the charges were a lot of random tack ons, and a surplus hourly rate. But I have never used hair extensions, I contacted laavoo's customer service department, they carefully explained to me how to wear & how to care & how to wash & how to remove the tape hair which is more professional than the salon, let me tell you these tips ! WEARING TIPS!!!! Step 1- Hair extensions must be applied to washed clean hair. Note, only use shampoo, not conditioner. Step 2- Rip off the cover on the tape extension to expose the super tape. Line up extension directly and attach by pressing to piece of desired hair. Step 3- Double the thickness by adding another layer to the underneath of the piece. Step 4- Two sticky sides face each other and the section of hair will be in the middle. Like a sandwich. Please note that there are about 50-80s hairs attached to it. If there are too many attached hairs, the stickiness of tape will be affected. Step 5- Please Note: Once hair is in, use your flat iron on a low heat setrting. Please control the temperature within 350 degrees Fahrenheit. (Please don’t use too high temperature, because that may cause the tape to melt.) Then heating the tapes 5-6s one time, repeating 5-6 times. Your hair is now thick and seamless. PRECAUTIONS AFTER WEARING FOR THE FIRST TIME: Do not wash your hair within 48 hours, do not touch alcohol or any chemical substances after wearing tape in hair extensions human hair, do not go to the swimming pool, and use neutral shampoo to wash your hair. WASHING & CARING TIPS: Step 1- use conditioner when shampooing; Step 2- use a hover comb to comb through your hair while blowing it out; Step 3- apply hair oil; Step 4- use a straightening board to straighten the hair. REMOVING TIPS: Step 1- Use with a professional product for taking out the tapes on the contact part of the hair and tape. Step 2- Wait for one minute, gently peel off the tape. (Don’t tear the tape too hard, because that might pull your own hair.) Step 3- Then you can wash your own hair to keep your hair clean and you could replace with new tapes. I hope these little tips of mine are helpful to you.If you’ve never put tape ins before- trust me it’s too easy. Then I bought laavoo hair extensions, please see the video and pictures, I really like it! 100% remy human hair ! Soft!!! GOOD QUALITY!!!! Cheaper than the salon and very cost-effective！！！ Just like that, my confidence is back! I like and appreciate myself very much now! So I was doing research on the best tape in brands on amazon, because I needed to get extensions in quickly overnighted when the distributor I had ordered her extensions with a few days prior let me know that the hair I needed in mere hours, and that was promised to be there days ago was not gonna be in in time for my service. I wasn’t even aware amazon sold tape ins, or any variety of extension until another stylist recommended this line and and gave props to amazon for always being pretty consistent when it came to last minute shipping and delivery. My client had an event she wanted her hair back in for. Client ok’d change and I ordered them hoping they would be ok in quality. now in the pics above keep in mind my client has significantly thick hair that was grown out to her collar bone and refusees to let me take any length off in order to blend it more accurately into her natural hair. she likes having a more drastic look in length. which requires a lot of hair to match the density, we ran out of hair when we took these photos and ended up putting another pack in to fill in the ends to match natural density better, but think we used 5 packs and 20&22” inch and I ordered a few different color combos to really try to blend the color we just did. To say I was impressed is a understatement. This hair is very nice quality, I did let see much fallout at her next appointment. and at her move up they were in good enough shape to reuse for a few months longer. The front of each tape has the nice detail of the actual hair texture on the front of the strands which is one of the things I look for when accessing quality because when the tape has that stranding detail; typically the hair and extensions are a better quality. The color choices were much more beautiful then even many higher end strictly professional extensions I have seen, and getting a few different shades allowed me to better recreate her color; although she prefers it to get brighter towards the bottom. These were great to install and work with and seem to be holding up fairly well using them the 2nd time around. would recommend these and think they looked and felt beautiful on my clients
