I am a hair extension enthusiast and a professional hair stylist. Let me tell you my story and my opinion from a professional perspective! For the past 3 years, the whole world has been in a state of turmoil. Unfortunately, I was infected with COVID. And as a woman who loves beauty, the sequelae brought about by COVID have slight hair loss, which makes me feel very scared and inferior. It was devastating. A friend recommended I try black hair extensions human hair until my hair started to come back. I had never had extensions, and I definitely was afraid of the idea of doing themself having already lost so much of my pretty hair. The local salon wanted over a thousand dollars for tape in hair extensions, I found out they got the hair from LAAVOO, and that the charges were a lot of random tack ons, and a surplus hourly rate. But I have never used hair extensions, I contacted laavoo's customer service department, they carefully explained to me how to wear & how to care & how to wash & how to remove the tape hair which is more professional than the salon, let me tell you these tips ! WEARING TIPS!!!! Step 1- Hair extensions must be applied to washed clean hair. Note, only use shampoo, not conditioner. Step 2- Rip off the cover on the tape extension to expose the super tape. Line up extension directly and attach by pressing to piece of desired hair. Step 3- Double the thickness by adding another layer to the underneath of the piece. Step 4- Two sticky sides face each other and the section of hair will be in the middle. Like a sandwich. Please note that there are about 50-80s hairs attached to it. If there are too many attached hairs, the stickiness of tape will be affected. Step 5- Please Note: Once hair is in, use your flat iron on a low heat setrting. Please control the temperature within 350 degrees Fahrenheit. (Please don’t use too high temperature, because that may cause the tape to melt.) Then heating the tapes 5-6s one time, repeating 5-6 times. Your hair is now thick and seamless. PRECAUTIONS AFTER WEARING FOR THE FIRST TIME: Do not wash your hair within 48 hours, do not touch alcohol or any chemical substances after wearing tape in hair extensions human hair, do not go to the swimming pool, and use neutral shampoo to wash your hair. WASHING & CARING TIPS: Step 1- use conditioner when shampooing; Step 2- use a hover comb to comb through your hair while blowing it out; Step 3- apply hair oil; Step 4- use a straightening board to straighten the hair. REMOVING TIPS: Step 1- Use with a professional product for taking out the tapes on the contact part of the hair and tape. Step 2- Wait for one minute, gently peel off the tape. (Don’t tear the tape too hard, because that might pull your own hair.) Step 3- Then you can wash your own hair to keep your hair clean and you could replace with new tapes. I hope these little tips of mine are helpful to you.If you’ve never put tape ins before- trust me it’s too easy. Then I bought laavoo hair extensions, please see the video and pictures, I really like it! 100% remy human hair ! Soft!!! GOOD QUALITY!!!! Cheaper than the salon and very cost-effective！！！ Just like that, my confidence is back! I like and appreciate myself very much now! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it took close to 2 weeks to receive and I chose the option for 1-2 day shipping/delivery. For the product itself I would def give Lavoo hair 5 stars. I’ve been using extensions for close to half of a year now which isn’t long but I have done enough research and tested enough products and theories to be a damn expert by now and 1 thing I know for sure is this company without a doubt is doing their customers right. They have the highest quality of HUMAN hair (without random differentiated color strands) and the hair is AMAZING to the touch and unlike other highly rated brands on here, it actually is good quality after you wash it and wear it for awhile which I have found the best way to rate any hair extensions because they all look and seem to be pretty and soft when you first receive it and put them in but after washing and wearing it for a week or two the hair reveals itself. I plan to wear extensions for the next 2 or 3 years while growing my natural hair back out and this brands nano & micro rings are the bomb and the prices are even better so stop your search for great hair here and go with Lavoo. You won’t be disappointed!!

I really love these, but they are thin! I also have to apply a bit of hair bond to the tape are because the edges tend to curl out (I have very thin natural hair). Also recommended toning the ends (everyone says T18, but I have found much better results with ash hair pudding on Amazon). Still definitely will keep buying as they have been very consistent!

*UPDATE 4/17/2023* After posting a review, the seller Ruby, reached out for an investigation on my item and after providing photos and proof to them they determined I did not get the correct item due to their distribution center. She made sure that I was taken care of and they sent me out a new package of hair, as I am using them for a wedding next month and they need to be in good condition. I was not expecting them to reach out but I’m glad they did as I am happy I don’t have to go out of my way to get a whole new set. Will come back later to upload a photo with end results! I ordered two packs separately and the first one was good, super thin. But the second pack was kind of dry and not as soft as the other, also has a ton of static I can’t get rid so I’m concerned it’s not 100% real hair. It says it’s 50g of hair but it’s so tiny it’s questionable. I usually buy my I tips from a salon and it’s usually much thicker so I’m disappointed as I was hoping it was a good price but I guess the thin quantity is what you pay for :/
