I always wear this Macaron scented color, it stays on, very long lasting, the color is usually perfect, this last batch doesn't have the macaron scent & the color isn't quite the same or as flattering. It's like the color is more muted, I am sad as this has been the only lip stain I use and love until this batch. Not sure what happened, but otherwise this brand and ip product is awesome!! I wanted a dupe for the $35 yves saint laurent matte satin #23 and wow! This lasted ALL day. Thru the morning coffee, lunch, drinking from straws, and dinner. Finally came off when I washed my face in the evening. If my lips felt dry during the day, I added my usual lip balm. I’m used to always having a moisturizing balm on my lips and wouldn’t normally pick a matte lip product. It didn’t bleed or smudge even with the balm on top. So, I think the product is great. The color is nice and it really does last a long time. I think the color is a little more peachy compared to the web color, but it could be just how it looks on me. I do think that one should consider fine lines on their lips. It went on smoothly and the color is rich and nice. But I think if you plan to wear only the matte lip color, you should expect it to highlight fine lines. Well, it's what I've experienced. I have another brand of matte that I wear that doesn't show the lines as much. What I find helpful is to top it with a nude lip gloss - if you don't mind a little gloss. It helps with the lines and I get the long-lasting color. I did notice after eating that the color was a little patchy, but it isn't terrible. I just think for me it isn't the most flattering lip product. Also, I'm not crazy about the applicator. I like the doe-foot applicators, but this one is a bit too flexible in my opinion, which makes it hard to line the lips accurately. Overall, I think this is a good product, but I have others I would buy over this one because of various personal preferences. ... show more
