    • Pretty much as good as ever

Like most other perfumes or cosmetics, the manufactures "retire" our favorites and toss out new ones that are genetically modified and seldom can you find the successful range of colors or scents approximating the ones you originally loved. I've loved the Color Riche lipsticks for L'Oreal for many years. They were creamy and smooth, without the glitzie wet look or added chemicals to plump your lips or the waxy, flat color that seem to stay on for days. In the good old days of say, 5 years ago I had found several shades that suited me perfectly, my favorite being #220, (Earth Rose I believe.). But...it's gone now. This new one I selected is still creamy and smooth, but the color is starker and bolder than I like, but that's not unexpected when buying online relying on photos. However, I must say I was impressed with delivery. I totally forgot this lipstick and two others would be arriving in the middle of 95+ temperatures. Couldn't remember if they would be delivered by US Mail or Amazon, but figured either way they would be liquified by the time they got to me. But lo and behold, they were delivered by Amazon and the thoughtful driver didn't just toss the package in the bushes, but put it right next to my door, in the shade. ... show more

This was required lipstick for the girls on my daughters dance team. I was a little skeptical when they all were told to purchase the same color. Especially with their different skin tones. My daughter has warm yellowish undertones. She has some teammates that are cooler skin tones. Very flattering when my daughter put it on. Not garish or harsh.
