Beautiful color but not pleased with the material of this product. It serves the purpose & my wife loved it as a bday gift. But I wish there was a better description on the material of the product. It’s not like the picture, where in your mind your imagining a cotton type of texture. This has more of a wax feel than cotton. If you were going to use it for an insert, it would be a great purchase, but if you’re going to use this duvet insert alone as it’s own piece, I would suggest to continue the search.

Good comferter as per price goes, If you get within $75. This has feather down and not whole feather, thats plus point. I purchased other brand from Amazon and had to return that one because feathers keep coming out! As feathers have sharp end that can poke through comferter.But this comferter brand don't have that issue because this has down and not whole feathers. Yes it is not that fluffy as showing in pictures, but not bad also.

First, the label says "90% Waterfowl Down & Feather Fiber" and "5% Goose Down". "Fiber" refers to pieces of damaged or broken down cluster or feather that is mixed in with the whole unbroken down clusters. "Down" is defined as the whole, unbroken down cluster. So this comforter is not technically "Down" but a down comforter with (mostly) real down is very expensive, with a queen size duvet running $350 and up. That being said, I agonized for a long time during the last few hours of Prime Day over which "down" comforter to purchase. Reviews were all over the place and cost was also a factor. I finally narrowed it down between this one and another and chose this one. I am glad I did! The minute I took it out of the bag it was already fluffy. I really squeezed it and I don't feel any feathers. If there are, they are tiny. For those who complain about the smell - it is not a chemical smell at all but the typical smell of a down filled item. I love the smell actually. It was not overpowering at all and I know it will dissipate over time. The shell is very soft and the color is nice. In fact, I liked it so much I bought one for my daughter the same day I received mine. I absolutely recommend it - and so does one of my dogs who immediately jumped up and went to sleep on it.
