I judge a nice comforter based on the internal tabs, if they have only 4, I don't want it. This one comes with 8 (one in each corner and mid section). The reason why this is important is simply because when adding a duvet cover, the duvet doesn't shift. That is super annoying when I see excess or overage in one spot. As for the comforter, the hefty price point does serve justice. After 24 hours of air fluff, the comforter rises and it's quite fluffy. It may. look lightweight but packs quite the heat. I'm a hot sleeper so this might be too warm so keep that in mind. With an added linen duvet or bamboo viscose cover, you should be set!

This is, in fact, a down comforter for those who didn't know lol I ordered this excited to see the title "luxury down comforter" - however, I was disappointed to find that it said "down alternative" when I initially checked the item description. "How could they do this to me?" I thought. As I begrudgingly removed it from the box and felt the comforter for the first time, I was shocked. "This... this feels like a down comforter!" I exclaimed. I excitedly checked the materials tag attached to find that this was indeed a down comforter!! "Hallelujah!" I screamed in both relief and excitement. I let it fluff out for less than the recommended time before I tried it out briefly. It was already fluffy and comfortable now, imagine after the recommended time had passed! If you haven't already guessed, I'm a fan of this comforter! Hahahaha It's extremely comfortable and made from down. It seems they have changed the product description to remove the "down alternative" statement now so there's no confusion, which is great. I do wish there was a white option, as this dark grey color can make a thin white duvet seem dull/grey. But if you're using a darker duvet or just the comforter on its own, you needn't worry. Other than the color choice, this is an excellent comforter/duvet insert. I recommend!

This big puffy down comforter fluffed right up within five minutes out of its plastic! The manufacturer recommends putting a duvet cover on that comforter, however, I think the color is so beautiful that I don’t want to cover it up. I will have to go because we do have fur boys who shed occasionally and one has very big thick claws. I’m glad you did. Big, puffy, cozy, and just perfect for chill fall nights. The manufacturer suggested they could possibly be a smell directly out of the bag, but there was absolutely none! I love this big beautiful blanket! I’m not really sure as to the price. It did seem a bit high, so that is the reasoning for four stars rather than five.

What a luxurious and comfortable comforter. After letting my girlfriend try it out the first night she refused to give it back. It's soft, big, light and airy while feeling dense and warm. I was amazed at how different than the average bed set this actually was. This can make a huge difference in how you sleep. I can say without a doubt that this is the best comforter I have ever used and I plan on using it forever.

I have a ridiculous love of soft and cozy blankets. I drive my husband up the wall. I was actually searching for another product when I came across this gorgeous down comforter. This down comforter is definitely a luxurious product. I ordered this and upon arriving I let the compressed air out and gave it time to completely fluff up and it took approximately 24 hours. The comforter is the "perfect" weight - not too heavy but enough to keep you nice and toasty - while being light enough on a somewhat hot summer night. The quality is impeccable. Below, I will outline some of the other features that appealed to me, which ultimately led me to choose this one over other similar ones on the market. *Design: Simplistic - Cali King Down 750 Fill - Storage Bag-Silky Fabric - Baffle Box - 8 Corner tabs -400 Thread count *Dimensions for your reference: 98" x 108" *OEKO ( Organic blended content standard) *Spot clean *Tumble dry *Recommendation by maker- to keep your comforter in pristine condition - they suggest using a duvet cover, and I would concur. *Variety: they offer a total of 10 different colors which are as follows: -White, Beige, Khaki, Glacier Grey, Light Blue, Light purple, Peach pink, Verdigris Green, Brown and Grey *Sizes offered are Queen, King and Cali King All in all, I find that this is a luxurious down comforter.
