This down comforter is perfect for what we need. My son is now a young adult and wanted to upgrade his bedding from a microfiber comforter which was making him sweat and feel sticky. The microfiber just wasn't all that breathable and the polyester stuffing added to that effect. This down comforter is perfect because it has a cotton cover and 75% down which makes it super soft and luxurious. These natural materials are just so much more comfortable, breathable and feel great next to the skin. I really like that the filling is 75% down, which is very generous compared to lots of other down comforters, and of course down is so much softer than regular feathers. Many other down comforters have a microfiber (polyester) outer shell, and this one is cotton, so that's another plus for this one from L LOVSOUL. The weight of this comforter is perfect; it is lightweight and not so overly stuffed as the extra-warm down comforters. We live in Texas and this one is perfect for chilly air conditioning that runs all night in the summer. In the winter, we typically get a few very cold days, but overall this comforter will be perfect for our mild winters, too. The box stitching keeps the down in place, and evenly spread throughout the comforter. We got a cotton duvet cover to help the comforter stay clean and to keep it all-natural. This comforter has the all-important corner loops so you can tie your duvet cover to the comforter to help it all stay in place. So far we have not washed this comforter but I like that it is machine washable because my son is only 20 and I don't see him going to a lot of trouble as far as taking care of this comforter. I like that he can pop it in the washer and dryer. We did fluff it in the dryer when it first arrived, and it did fine there with no feathers escaping from the outer shell. Overall my son lives this comforter and he is sleeping so much more comfortably now. It is such an upgrade from his microfiber comforter with the poly fill. Because my winter duvet cover is far too warm for the summer, I decided to try this L LOVSOUL Lightweight White Goose Down Comforter. This comforter was chosen primarily because it claims to be 75 percent down. This is confirmed by the tag, which does not elaborate on what the other 25% is. Other comforters I've seen typically contain only 30% down and 70% feathers. This comforter is extremely soft, and there are no feathers poking through, which is fantastic. This comforter was vacuum sealed, but after a little shaking, it fluffed up. It didn't need to go through the dryer. I also didn't notice any odors or problems with the stitching. This comforter has small loops in the corners and the middle of the sides for attaching to a duvet cover. This comforter was paired with this B09YLTBY9R Nayoroom Black Satin Silk Duvet Cover . It was the perfect size, and it looks great on my bed. This L LOVSOUL Lightweight White Goose Down Comforter is the perfect amount of warmth for me in summer. To be honest, I ordered this one, when the original product I requested got lost in shipping. So, as a bonus, I was able to compare the two head to head and while this is a very nice comforter, it did come in second, and here's why. First, the outer fabric material was not as soft and nice feeling as the other comforter. Second, while I know both are lightweight, this one came either so compressed or with a lot less down, and so it never really fluffed up to be as substantial as the other comforter. That said, this is advertised as a lightweight comforter, one you could use in the summertime, and I believe that to be true. I will give it more time for the down to fluff out and again, I think that for what it is it's pretty great, especially considering the value you get for your money. ... show more

I have lived a long life and experienced many duvets. None have been something that I would consider in the summer. Until this one! It was so thin and lightweight when I took it out of the box that I thought it was still compressed from packaging. And by thin I don't mean not fluffy and comfortable. I mean this is the perfect choice for someone who loves the feeling of a down comforter but sleeps hot. It has eight tabs to secure it inside your choice of cover. This lightweight, white goose down comforter/duvet insert is very soft and cozy. It's only slightly thicker than a blanket which makes it perfect for warm weather seasons or climates. It's very simple and fresh looking - even without a duvet cover. Happily this is box stitched to keep the down in place. My previous down comforter didn't have the box stitching and so I spent a lot of time trying to shift the down which collected on one side or the other. Recommended. So I've been searching for a comforter that has that cooling effect. My room stays at 74 degrees despite the 4 fans in my room lol. Thankfully this comforter allows me to sleep through the night without sweating my butt off!!! I am so happy with this find, I no longer sweat all night long!!! I definitely recommend this comforter to hot sleepers! It is light weight but can be a little loud when moving around? I use this comforter without a duvet cover. I am very happy with this comforter! Both my husband and I tend to run warm, so after a lot of research I went with a lightweight fill. Each panel is box stitched and filled with 26oz of goose down. It is a rather thin comforter, but I remain a comfortable temperature throughout the night. On average our house is about 67 degrees.
