I'm surprised how thick this is. The dark gray color shows through a duvet cover with white, but I don't mind. It is a duvet cover not a comforter. I wouldn't want to use it as a comforter. It is 100% polyester so it's not going to breathe and will be pretty warm. When I got the twin it was around $30, which is a great value. I wouldn't pay more for the one I have. It held up fairly well to washing and drying except the filling is starting to bunch together in the stitched squares. The description said it meets OEKO TEX standards and it is one of the few bedding items that actually has an OEKO TEX tag on it. That's important to me and I'm impressed!
