I have been buying L'Estornel EVOO for several years. It is, by far, my favorite. Taste is great. I used to be able to buy a six-pack at a time, but regrettably that option is no longer available on Amazon. It is pricey, but sooooo good. The only downside for me is that the cap pours very little at a time, which is fine when you just want a drizzle, but a bit of a pain when you are pouring more. ... show more

Harps play. Angelic choirs sing from on high. Beams of sunlight somehow illuminate your kitchen. That is what using this olive oil is like. I have never experienced such a wonderful tasting olive oil. It's like pouring liquid gold. The flavor is beautiful, it's thicker than normal olive oils, and has such a rich golden color. Spanish olive oil is my favorite, and this one doesn't disappoint! It's, grassy, buttery and peppery with a nice slight burn in your throat...the mark of a quality olive oil. It's become my absolute favorite olive oil, and I keep it on hand at all times.

I tried this olive oil many years ago and fell in love with the bright flavor. It does not overshadow other flavors that you are using in your dishes but enhances them. In salads, the true fruity olive taste comes through and you will love your salads. It is not an oily oil, it does not overcoat your food.     • Frustrating Bottle Spout
This olive oil has a nice taste which is on the mild side. However, I see no way to remove the bottle spout so I can only get the olive oil out in small splashes. I tried to pull the spout out with all my strentgh but it would not budge. How are you supposed to fill a dispenser or spray bottle? The spout assembly has the cap threads built into it so it does not seem to be designed to be removeable. Maybe there is a trick to it but I am about to get out my electric drill to make a large hole in the spout. ... show more
