Not made with leather. Not the finest skates ever built (plastic frame). They are sturdy skates that allow you to learn without having to worry about trashing a hundred bucks. For the price, these are great I had them on for the first time for about 20 minutes. I fell 4 times. I scuffed the crap out of them. The skates held up. I'm a big, old guy. So big and so old that I should really reconsider trying to learn to skate (I'm blaming my wife - she got skates and I'm trying to be a good hubby). As long as I don't fall and break a hip, I think that these will work great for the next couple of years. ... show more

These roller skates are OK for beginners. I was expecting a little higher quality as the name of the product says “cowhide”, and the photo looks like suede... but buyer beware these are not leather. They are a synthetic fabric (feel similar to neoprene). So I’m not sure how they will hold up over time. ... show more

Extremely to large and I purchase the correct size. Cute but did not have the hooks that I was use to with roller skates if my daughter hadn’t put them on and skates in the garage I would have return them

These skates are solid, high quality and really cute. The flashing wheels are a safety feature as well as looking great and being fun. Skates rate a 4 because getting into and out of them is cumbersome due to the regular shoe laces instead clips or velcro.
