The advertisement and photo make you want to avoid these jeans, right? The ad emphasizes “butt lifting” spandex, which must cause modest folks to keep looking elsewhere for their blue jeans. I overheard a stranger at a restaurant raving to her friend about them. The stranger said she got her blue jeans on Amazon and loved them. They didn’t look bad on her, so I got out my phone and found them on Amazon. Upon seeing the ad, I wouldn’t think of buying them for my wife. That big butt photo, and attention called to the “butt lifting” spandex, are poor choices by the advertising professionals. Still, the stranger’s overheard praising and endorsement drew me into buying them for my wife, who needs no butt lifting, thank you very much. My wife now has a pair of comfortable blue jeans that use just the right amount (2%) of spandex. She wore her Christmas gift the day after Christmas, and smiled all day because they fit just right. They conform nicely to her, without being embarrassingly snug. These jeans do look nice and fit well. The advertising suggests the jeans’ spandex do some magic to enhance assets. That likely turns away potential buyers who don’t notice the spandex is only 2%. Only 2% spandex won't cause “spandex cling” that most buyers would find embarrassingly, and uncomfortably, revealing. Only 2% spandex is too insignificant to do that. It will, however, give just the right amount of spandex to comfortably fit, look good, but without looking too tight like in the photo. Bad ad, totally appropriate jeans.

Love the dark blue pair I own, but black pair does not fit the same and has that terrible dye smell that is nearly impossible to get rid of, even after soaking in vinegar and water and multiple washes.

I hate jeans. I seriously hate them. They're uncomfortable to me and if I could never wear them again, I wouldn't. I'm also one month postpartum so not really excited to get back to jeans, ALL that to say I love these jeans. If I'm going to have to wear jeans, these are perfect. They compliment my figure, I don't feel like I'm stuffing myself into them, and they're comfortable considering they're jeans. I'm already planning to buy them in other colors.

Based on the reviews i purchased a Medium. Um, Medium DID NOT fit!! So i returned them and ordered a XL. The XL fit. I have 46 inch hips & a 35 inch waist. Pear Shape body. Athletic quads. These are comfy. Love the color of these jeans. All & all I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought two pairs of these jeans back in September and I have had almost no issues with them. They were the perfect fit recommend by my previous Amazon purchases. They are not see through and the color never wore down. My only complaint would be that they now have started to tear on the upper thighs. However I wear them multiple times throughout the week and have been very good otherwise. I recommend for anyone to try out! I have purchased again and look forward to seeing if the quality may have improved since my last time purchasing.
