This is my first luggage set I've bought brand new!!! Ive always just grabbed a bag from goodwill or garage sales. Now that I'm in my 40s and like to go to conventions I wanted a real set. Quite frankly last convention I went to it was rather embarrassing walking into a 4-5 star hotel with used mismatched luggage. Here i was in downtown Austin paying 50.00+ just for parking and my luggage looks like its barely holding on. A softside forest green suitcase, a duffle gym bag, and a reusable shopping bag. (Yes it was that bad) At that point i decided it maybe time to buy a real set. I've been looking at and comparing several sets for the last month. I finally settled on this one. I didnt need it until later this year so I waited for it to go on sale. The other day it dropped 30.00 so I decided it was time to pull the trigger. Reasons why I chose this set over similar sets. The wheels. I like the fact they are removable. My husband flys once or twice a year and he always ends up with a broken wheel after 1 or 2 trips. I figure if I ever have to fly being able to remove the wheels will lessen the chance of them being broken. The bigger soft bag. This was the only one like this that the bottom was a seperate compartment. All the others it was just an expandable bottom. The lockable zippers. This looks to be the same as other sets but it was still a feature I liked. I've never had a suitcase that locked. Color I wanted a purple set I liked this lavender color. The tan trim gave it a nice elegant touch I thought. Also I'm hoping the girly color keeps my husband from trying to steal it! Now it arrived today. The first thing I noticed the box was nice and cute. It was a bit heavy but with all the others inside I figured it would be. When I opened it the biggest suit case was staring at me. The color is just as pretty in person. Wrapped in plastic it was kept nice. The rest of the suitcases were nested into one another. Each one wrapped in plastic. The wheels for the outside case was inside of the last suitcase. They snap in easily and secure. They dont have any wobble or play in them. I feel they will hold up well. Only drawback which isnt really a drawback. The tan trim I thought was maybe leather on the corners. Its not its just hard plastic. Which is fine. It will probably hold up much better being plastic. Leather or fake leather would degrade over time. I won't be using this set until probably November this year but if I have additional info at that point I will update. As is right now though I do recommend this product. Seems sturdy and functional and very nice for the price.

I haven't used them yet but based on the aesthetics and feel, I think it’s great. It looks very much as the picture. Very lightweight and good space. The wheels were easy to snap in and remove with a very smooth, easy glide.

The luggage set is as expected and appears very nice. We haven’t used it to travel yet, but I don’t foresee any issues. I like that the wheels on the larger bag can be removed (to avoid damage). The zippers seem to be sturdy and we had no issues setting the locks to a code of our choosing! I would definitely recommend and/or purchase again.

Look great! Survived 1st trip with no problems. Did take wheels off on outbound trip, but that seemed to confuse the agents who took my luggage off carousel. And appeared suitcase was dragged on the ground. Kept wheels on return trip, no problems then.
