Description

The Solus KH16 is refined through the use of KUMHO's ESCOT Technology that optimizes the tire's shape, internal tension and footprint contact pressure. On the outside, the Solus KH16 tires feature an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design that features full-depth circumferential and multiple lateral grooves to enhance traction in rain and light snow. On the inside, twin steel belts are reinforced by nylon belt edge strips to provide high speed stability and durability, while polyester body plies provide casing strength and a smooth ride.

Ordered and received these tires. Installed at Pep Boys. All was well. Drove less than 1,000 miles and had a side wall blow out. Didn't hit anything. Stopped for gas and heard an odd sound coming from the driver front tire. As I was looking at it I could see bubbles popping up on the side wall. They were about the size of one 1/2 of a golf ball. Then one of them blew out and now I had a flat. I am glad I wasn't driving when it happened. It appeared like the different layers of rubber were separating. I would hear a little "pop" each time a new bubble would appear. Two stars for now because they drive well and hold the road fair enough, more stars if the seller would refund the cost ($119.75) of the one tire plus the installation cost ($20.00).     • "H" speed rating. Be careful to get 4 matching tires
Affordable and good fit for Mercedes ml350. The speed rating us H, which is the lowest end, the V speed rating is better. If you don't have 4 ties at the same speed rating, two will wear out faster
