I had foot surgery 2/26 and was having trouble finding comfortable footware afterward with continued pain/swelling. I am a flip-flop girl but could not wear traditional flip-flips post surgery. I reluctantly ordered these to wear around the house, afraid they would look like "old lady" shoes and be uncomfortable. I am so pleasantly surprised! They are the only shoes I can confortably wear (even tennis shoes) and I have no pain with them. They are really cute and I wear them everywhere. May get them in different colors. Comfy! Helps a groomer in her 60's after standing alllll day. I personally had to size down from wearing a typical 7 to a 6. The difference i found, personally, was the width & being way too loose. The 7 was very wide & i have a slim to normal width foot. I do think they stretch out if you wear even thin socks. Good thing is you can try them & send them back! I bought these because I need good arch support and overall foot support, especially for my feet and knees. At first, I thought they might work because they felt cushioned and they are very lightweight. The appearance is fine. They are cute, simple, and easy to slip on around the house. If you only want a casual slide that looks cute and feels light, they may be okay. Unfortunately, they did not work for me. The plastic material is not very comfortable, and after wearing them exclusively around the house for a few days, they started rubbing the sides of my feet. I do have wide feet, so that may be part of the issue, but they became uncomfortable pretty quickly. The biggest disappointment is the support. Whatever arch support they seemed to have at first already feels like it has worn down. For the price, I expected them to be more comfortable and supportive. I would not recommend these if you need real support for plantar fasciitis, knee issues, or overall foot comfort. ... show more

Very similar to much more expensive Hokas. Although not “exactly” like Hoka, they still have that cushioning and arch support. The strap across the top is less roomy than Hoka but imo that turns out to be a good thing , because my hokas are way too loose, such that they can go out from under my feet sideways. I was initially concerned because that top strap irritated the big toe knuckle (same as my hokas) and that I was going to only be able to wear them with socks (same as my hokas). I wore them one day with socks, and to my surprise, the next day they needed no socks, no irritation at all (unlike my hokas that still require socks). They stay on my feet better. I really like these sandals. The quality is good and my feet don’t slip too much because of the way they are designed from the inside (line markings that keep your feet from slipping forward). The only reason my feet slip occasionally is because the sandals are fairly wide (too wide for my feet). There are no straps for adjusting. Still, I would buy them again. I love these slides! Really are helping with my plantar issue and are super comfy. They run big. I normally wear a size 7.5-8. I ordered a 7 and they are still too big! I kept them but am ordering another pair, probably size 6. Follow the Amazon size recommendation.
