Features

  • FABULOUS SOUND: Our electric bass can deliver brighter sound and a more powerful mid-range growl owing to J type 2 single-coil pickups. The mahogany body makes this electric bass tone become richer, which is perfectly suitable for rock metal
  • OUTSTANDING TONE DISPLAY: Adapted with passive pickups, this 4-string rock bass has pure sound and a good distortion effect, which can play variable musical styles. The surface coating design of strings makes string tension larger therefore you can play a more stable and smooth sound
  • HUMANIZE DESIGN: 1.4" nut width and 9.5" fretboard radius are the right sizes for kids and adults alike. The turning knobs are made of premium chrome so that can maintain a mirror-like shine for a long time
  • FANSATIC HAND-FEELING: Made of premium rosewood, this fretboard of the 4-string bass guitar features smooth touch and hard texture in order to better hand-feeling and durability. Compared to ordinary bass, our bass neck adopts a C-shaped design for a more comfortable experience
  • SUITABLE FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS: Coming with a complete set, this bass guitar is no assembly required which is a great choice for beginners and experienced musicians of all levels. A portable bag with a convertible nylon strap supports you to carry it in different ways

  • It has no business being this good for $72?!
Size: Compact Color: Red
First ever review. Absolutely fantastic! For the price, hell forget the price! I have been having so much fun playing this. Micro bass, 2 octave guitar length scale, sounds great, did I mention fun? Considering price paid, set up is decent, still adjusting details, but better than passable out of the box. Looks - Red looks awesome, matte finish, sweet. Build - Solid, no issues, and it has some hefty to it, in a good way, for the size. Sound - Played thru a 300 watt bi amped Carvin 2-10, 1-15 stack, boom! Overall - Just love playing this thing, makes me smile every time. Nice to sit in front of the TV and noodle/practice. Definitely worth the price paid, $59.99, $19.99 shipping, 10% coupon? Done and done. Accessories - Cheap, cheap bag, cheap strap, shockingly good cord? Short, 10'? braided jacket, what? ... show more

  • So great. Just crazy for the price.
Size: Compact Color: Yellow
Bought this for my six year old son who was interested in my bass a bit. It looks amazing, and the quality is crazy for the price. So fun to play. Playable out of the box. It is not a split single coil (precision style) pickup, by the way. It's two single cool jazz bass style pickups. This is obvious from the photos. Controls are volume, tone, and sweep. Electronics are noisy if you are using both pickups, but it sounds best just dialed down to the bridge pickup anyway. ... show more

  • Fantastic lil' bass
Size: Compact Color: Yellow
Arrived near playable with some fretwork. Very playable neck. Sealed the open pore finish with 2 coats of past wax and buffed, came out very nice. Perfect travel bass. Round wound strings and the dual picups great tonal range bright to mellow. Tightened tuner posts to help hold tuner drifting. Intonation not very close across all strings/bridge easily adjustable/typical Fender style good weight. Control cavity not sheilded but quiet/scaled pots. Overall first impression very playable/well made. Tight neck to body joint cavity with Picup cavities tight too. Nutcut hieght very good to string gauge. Pleasantly surprised/very gig-able with fine setup! Could be converted easily to a piccillo bass future. Cost/quality/playability/fun factors bassically B+. Bag & accesories very cheap/minimal, buy a strap! Will use RV'g/camping with a battery Joyo Bamp. Fantastic durable versatile playable portable bass. Overall rating 1-10, easy solid "8" (one I received). Future "fretless/5'r/8 string'r priced accordingly?? Need string suppliers for variations beside Mako5. Thx Amazon & Glearry, Keep'm coming, Cheers🎯 ... show more

  • Hilariously Bad. But awesome for camping!
Size: Compact Color: Yellow
I purchased this childs/beginners bass specifically for camping. It's hilariously bad, but it's perfect for what I want. And I know how to fix most of the problems to make it work correctly. I'm currently thinking of this more like a kit than a finished instrument. * The body of the instrument has a *very* thin layer of color and no lacquer or varnish, and there are a lot of cross-grain scratches which can't be fixed without removing the dye. The scratches are the only non-repairable flaw. There is also "fuzz" from routing the edges of the instrument. I used fine sandpaper to knock off the rough spots -- it removed some of the layer of color giving it a "weathered look" -- then sprayed on a couple coats of matte varnish. * None of the chambers in the body have any shielding, which can be fixed with copper tape. Easy, just time-consuming. Don't forget to add a grounding wire for the shielding. * Setup - every single adjustment was wrong, but easy to fix, and most of the tools needed are included: The nut height was wildly high... so high that low F would go sharp when fretted. This needs to be filed with a tiny, round "Swiss File," or work carefully with sandpaper. The truss rod was so tight it had the neck in a back-bow, causing huge amounts of string buzzing. Saddle heights were too low. Intonation was random, but at least the bridge is in the right place and can be adjusted. The pickups were sunk much too far into the body (like, 10 mm from the strings! Should be 3mm!) The narrow piece of foam wouldn't push them out when I tried to adjust the height. The included gig bag is a single layer of nylon, with no padding. I had low expectations for the gig bag and they were met. On a positive note, the tuners are surprisingly smooth, with a light touch from the 22:1 gear ratio. Nota bene: scale length is 25.5". This isn't mentioned in the description, and you need to know this if you plan to replace the strings at any time. ... show more

  • Small but big sound, ktaxon bass guitar
Size: Compact Color: Yellow
I got the yellow color of this bass guitar and it looks nice and sounds good, tone is great clear without noise. Personally I bought this guitar, coz I need lighter one for travel and to record my own composition as a hobby while on board the ship, coz I'm a seaman right now. Then I made a record out of this bass to complete the track of my song and the mixing result was excellent, the quality sound is like no difference to a standard size bass guitar. And I'm very happy with the result, now I'm enjoying listening my recorded song composition after finished recording coverted to Mp3 file. This cheaper price is a money saver with quality tone, lighter weight easy to carry, short scale but 24 fret full scale which I most like, and a very comfotable, much easier than stanbard bass guitar to dribble your finger along the fret board, coz its like the size length of an electric guitar, I would recommend this to buy! ... show more

as a girl who is more on the petite end of the spectrum I can say that this bass works pretty good from a beginners perspective its my first bass and ive been able to reach all the frets just fine. Although its definitely up to a standard far past beginner I have enjoyed its size and weight discounting the non even distribution there of. ... show more
