My daughter made off with my previous 24in suitcase, so I was in the market and came across this. PROS: --I like that it is zipperless, as zippers inevitably seem to hold up poorly. --Each latch has a configurable combination, but I do not know why anyone bothers given you can buy TSA master keys online, so anyone who wants to get in your luggage is going to get in. --Great size for a four-to-five day vacation where you do not want to have to worry about laundry. I was able to pack all my clothes, plus sunscreen, toiletries, and so on and still had room for some souvenirs on the way back. NOTE: This is *not* for carry-on. --It is lightweight and rolls very smoothly. CONS: --If you are looking for an expandable suitcase, this is not for you--it is rigid. It fits what it fits. --The cup holder is on the wrong side. If you are pulling it upright, you would want to have one hand on the handle and grab the cup with your other hand, which would be easier if it were on the other side. If you are pulling it at an angle, the cup will be tilting towards the floor, which will make it less stable if you have a tall cup. It would be better if it were tilting towards the suitcase on the other side. --Speaking of the cup holder, it does not seem very sturdy. It was a nice-to-have feature, so I am not worried about it, but I cannot imagine it will hold up if I use it regularly. --The USB charging port is essentially worthless. The idea is that you put a charger inside the suitcase connected to a cable they provide, and then you can plug your own cable and phone into a port on the outside. The fundamental flaw with this is that you cannot put a battery in checked luggage, so you would have to get to the airport, open your suitcase, take out the battery, and close it back up before checking it, which no one is going to do--if anything, the very existence of this feature is encouraging people to break FAA rules.

I was skeptical because there aren't many reviews compared to other suitcases on Amazon, but the quality surprised me. The metallic piece on the corners is actually metal (expect for it to get banged up a bit). The shell seems sturdy, and the cup holder is definitely helpful. The tires are super smooth compared to any other suitcase I've had so far. The appearance is definitely modern, and I was getting compliments from my colleagues. If you want even more space, I would recommend vacuum-sealed bags built for the 20 in suitcase size.

I really like these except for three issues, and - full disclosure - I have another brand's version of the 28" piece as a comparison. Overall, they're great, very basic inside without "special" spaces, so I can fit a lot in them. Issue number one is the important one, and that is that getting the sides to line up when you close it isn't flawless, and I've had to work it a bit before I could secure the latches. Number two is the process of resetting the combinations. You have to flip a little switch which is inside (or under, if you prefer) the latch. The description and diagram did not make that very clear. Not a big deal because once I found it, changing the combo was simple & fast. The third is also minor but annoying, and that's the "cupholder" on the back. It's a great idea and the mechanism works well. My beef is that it's too small for anything but a small bottle of water or paper coffee cup. I'd love it if it were big enough to hold even my 20 oz water bottle. However, my older case doesn't have this at all. Though they're a bit pricey, they're also durable, and I would have no reservations about recommending them to friends & family.
