I was hoping to make some formal drapes for my bedroom and dining room. I have used pleated tape before, but not for curtains and not for pinch pleating. This tape made all the difference in the world and my drapes turned out perfect. I know where my mistakes are, but it is not noticeable to anyone else. These hooks are very sturdy and are of standard size. Once I watched a video on how to use it, it was very easy to insert. The gathering tape is non adhesive, so you will need a sewing machine to sew it onto the curtain for longevity. It is on the thin side but it still does the job to hold up light to medium weight curtains. We don't have heavy curtains but it worked well for ours.

This was purchased for drapes and I was really looking or the pins to make sure the drapes hug the ceiling. This tape has potential but the fact that it has to be sown onto the drapes hurts it usage for me. I'm not a tailor so that is out of my area.

So the w hooks are great! Not so much the tape. It holds up and it was thin enough for fabric adhesive, but it feels like lt will snag easily. The hooks are very sturdy, grest size and are flexible if you need them to be.

I have a sewing machine now but I didn't a few months ago and I can't image how I ever would have sewed this on securely and neatly without one. Regardless, this works perfectly for hanging on a traverse rod and I like that you can control the size of the pleats. The majority of curtain panels are 52 inches wide so this works for two in most cases.

I keep turning this set of tape and pins over and over in my hands. I see that they would help to create nice lightweight curtains, but now that they're here, I'm tempted to attach them to drapes that are sagging a bit and could use some new pin support because the original inner stabilizer has weakened. I'm afraid it's going to take me a while to get up the courage to work on this project, but when I do, I'll simply sew this onto the thick drapery, by hand, hoping for a good result -- that is, strong pin attachment and hold. If I chicken out, I'm 100% sure this product will be perfect for the lightweight curtain I first had in mind to create. I recommend this product.
