The shoes are comfortable. Light and not hot - good ventilation. Good tread, not a slippery sole. If I had to say anything about the shoes I did not care for - I had to replace the laces that came with shoes with cloth laces. The nylon laces that came with the shoes were very "stretchy." I was unable to pull the laces tight, as they would just stretch when you tried to tighten them instead of pulling/tightening the lace through the eyelets. Great price! Bought these shoes not just for hiking or running, but for daily wear. These shoes look cool (got the blue to light blue ones) and are good for in town or walking around. I am mixed on the comfort, where they feel fine and the size was right as advertised, but when walking they just feel a little awkward or not right. My feet hurt a little after wearing them the first few days, but assume they need some breaking in. The heal has good support, but not the mid to front of the shoe which are thin and you can feel everything if on a trail. I walk about 5 miles a day in town and on trails, so comfort and support is important to me. Wouldn't run in them on a trail because you would feel every rock, but they are good in town. My biggest issue is trying to keep them clean; since I use them for every day and not just trails. The material on the front is nice but hard to keep clean. It goes all the way almost to the ground where the thin bottom tread is, so if you go on trails and step on any uneven ground, your weight pushes the material into the dirt or mud. Once you get things on the material, is very hard to get out if at all. Overall, very nice shoes for the price and look cool. The mid to front of the shoes need more support. Wouldn't recommend for trail running, but great for in town on concrete or non-trail. ... show more

Good looking shoes. Got several compliments until they got dirty. The black soles are staining the toes of the shoes (which are an off white color) when I cross my legs/feet or accidentally touch them together when walking or shifting position. I've adjusted the laces three times to try to avoid the tight feeling from the tongue where it touches the top of my feet, but they still feel uncomfortable ... show more

I don't think sneakers should have heels..even low heels. It's gonna take awhile to learn how. Other than that, the sneakers are great ! The rubber sole is thick and hard and should last awhile (hence the extra weight) and the insole is OK. Did I mention the heel ? Lol
