  • HOW TO USE: Shake the Kraken Bond Fastcoat Insulation Foam Spray can very well before use. For vertical applications, apply the foam from a distance of 12-18 inches from the wall. For horizontal applications on the ceiling, spray the foam from 6-8 inches away. A thicker application provides higher insulation value. If you wish to resume later, keep the can attached to the applicator gun. NOT recommended for use with other brands.

Worked perfectly for me. The cans are super large and I kept hitting my subfloor with straight tip on. I switched to 45* angle and made it much easier. I sprayed the top half first and then turned the nozzle 180* and on a second pass sprayed the bottom half. Hardens to touch in about 30 min at 72F

I bought this. Had a few things come up so I wasn’t able to use right away. When I finally used them, which was just past the return date, they didn’t work. Out of the 12 cans I bought, only two worked. The rest had no propellent. What a waste of money. I wanted to spray the rim joist along the foundation before the winter. I was hoping they worked because I have so many uses I can use small amounts of spray foam for customers houses since I own a construction company. But this was a waste of $287!!!! Amazon was willing to help me out by giving me a small credit but it was only enough to buy 3 cans. I read other reviews that this seems to be pretty common from this company that their product is defective. ... show more

Product covers and hopefully stops drafts. The one very very negative thing is the spray tube. 1st it barely goes into the SPRAYER and secondly the plastic tube is too big or the gun isn't big enough. I even taped it on and it kept coming off. Good thing I read reviews as I had it pop off and spray me in the face. Would hate to see what would of happened if I didn't have the goggles on and a hazmat suit. This design really needy a fix to make this a great product. ... show more

This is the first real SPRAY foam in a can I have ever found. I am a professional contractor and I've used many different brands and types of foam over the years including $800 froth kits. For smaller jobs, this is perfect. The included gun seems very high quality and has a nonstick coating on the barrel. The real genius is the small red spray tips that you push onto the end of the barrel. Each can comes with two, a fan spray and an upspray version useful for overhead surfaces. I'm still on my first tip, I just clean it each time I change cans with the included can of cleaner. Just clean the tip after use and I lightly spray the opening in the gun where the nozzle of the can fits in when changing cans. For longer storage I would clean the gun by attaching the cleaner can to the gun to enable flushing it out. The can of cleaner includes a slip on nozzle to allow using it like a regular spray can in addition to screwing it onto the gun. My old porch leaks like a sieve, this product did a great job of insulating and sealing the mud sill and rim board. I found that you can get into different areas by spraying at different distances and by varying the amount you pull the trigger. More pressure from further away, much less when working close up. You can easily do different types of foaming by just varying the trigger pressure. And the spray really drives the foam into cracks and seams. It expands quite a bit, I found I used too much at first. Do a medium coat first and give it time to fully expand before adding more. The cans are larger than normal gun cans and the foam goes further than I expected. I haven't figured out the cost of this versus a froth pack, but I think for smaller jobs or intermittent usage this is a real winner. I am very pleased with this product. ... show more
