    • Lovely but instructions need help

For the good, very attractive, I liked and wanted the plastic so wood, and not a cheap thin metal or real wood, which would require maintenance. While it was seemingly simple to put together a little bit of extra attention in the instructions about making sure the sides face the right way would have been helpful and also note that if you are putting this together inside a room like a screen room, there wasn’t enough headspace to put some of the corner trim pieces as you had to put them in from the top. It will require anchoring as it will blow over easy without that. I wasn’t a fan of the grow bag so I bought some planters that fit inside of it, which is fine for me because I’ll have to move them inside for the winter. ... show more

This is a perfect privacy screen for your patio. The planter box helps keeps the screen grounded, and it really does look nice once it's together, which was easy to do.

    • Cheap - look for something better

Product was difficult to put together since instructions were not clear. Also, when erecting the panels, the wind would knock it over. Some of the screws were hard to install with an allen wrench. A couple of them ended up stripping the inside of the holes that they were supposed to go into. Panels were difficult to piece together. Once product was together, the dirt bags were attached. The clips used for this process are temporary and acted like it. After dirt was put into first side, the bag ripped. No big deal because it is dirt. Second day after this planter was instilled and filled with dirt, the wind blew it over. Most likely this is due to the idea of three inch anchors being used to support a 4 x 6 wall. Two of the caps came off. Panels became irregular. We had to try and put the planter back together, but it was not precise. A couple of days later, the wind blew it over again so we decided to return the planter. Found out we are responsible for 20% of the costs plus shipping. Basically, you are paying $500 for a product that might be worth $100 that lacks support. The parts being used are not quality so they are easily damaged. ... show more

Initially the instructions are a little confusing but once you get going it’s pretty straightforward. The reason for only 2 stars is because the anchor pieces for 2 of the legs were too large to fit into the their designated slots. It was very awkward to get the nuts on the 2 that did fit as you have to secure them inside the hollow legs but it’s difficult to fit a couple fingers in to maneuver them into place. Additionally, a couple of “wood” slats were too large to fit into the slots causing them to shave as you slide them into place. I intended to use several of these as a privacy screen/planter in my garden area but will likely look for a different product. ... show more

We really like this screen with the planter. We haven’t gotten the plants yet, but it goes so nicely with the other screens we put up. It was a little difficult to assemble, but once up, it feels pretty sturdy.

Wish it had a top cover on the planter box, like it had for the back. Also wish the bottom had cross members to place bricks for weight so it doesn’t tip over.
