I loved that this olive oil didn't burn my throat like some olive oils have done....ones that were way more expensive than this...This oil is sweet and deeply flavored...good for both cooking and dipping bread into, plus tasted great on salads and veggies. It was very fresh with zero rancidity and I use a little of it almost every day. Happy with this purchase and great reviews led me to choose this Greek olive oil over many others sold on Amazon.. And to the one person who gave this product such a low rating, I wanted to say, that I don't like olive oils with a super peppery taste. What I find objectionable about olive oils that leave a strong "sting" is that I start coughing as soon as I swallow. So this oil, although is very slightly peppery, it was not at all strong and I found it to be delicious and very balanced. Update June 1, 2019 I am still buying this olive oil. I did research on the various award winning olive oils of Greece. The Kouzini brand was one of the only organic olive oils listed as a top brand to choose and it won a Silver award for excellence......SO for anyone who doesn't think it's totally authentic Greek olive oil, think again and do your own research. Google Greece, best olive oils in the world. I have purchased many Kouzini bottles now from Amazon...I'm afraid to run out...I eat it right off a spoon it's that good! I find myself craving this olive oil and I keep reading about all the medicinal properties of really good olive oil...Very impressive... I am now recommending Kouzini to friends and family. Most people have no clue what they're purchasing when they just buy olive oil in a supermarket...Like fine wine, you have to search for authentic delicious olive oil that is both fresh tasting and appeals to your personal flavor preference.. I just wanted to let people know that after a year of using this oil every day, I'm still giving this olive oil 5 stars. Even restaurant olive oil in some of my favorite high quality Italian restaurants cannot come close to this oil...

Flavor is amazing. Quality top notch. Texture is brilliantly smooth. I use Zatar seasoning and dip in bread. Amazing smell so fragrant. I am having better circulation too and I am a type 1 diabetic and I think it's cuz of this

A price foundation article said some compound in extra virgin unfiltered olive oil helps to regulate blood sugar. Forget its name, but I got the point and selected this bottle off of the choices on amazon. It is spicy when taken alone. Less so if mixed with other foods. It has this amazing 'green stuff' sort of flavor (after the usual "olive oil" flavor that is, I think, still less obnoxious to me.) I like the dark glass, and the 'small' size (compared to 3 gallons). Helps me get through it while fresh. It says you can cook with it, but my SO fried eggs with it, and the fancy flavors were totally lost. I think the heat destroyed what makes it sparkle. denatured the proteins. I like to apply this to food after cooking, if applicable. I like it so much, I'll have 1 oz on a shot glass if I cannot think of anything to pour it on. Never thought I'd feel this way about olive oil. PS, the package arrived very quickly, days before Amazon's prediction. Product was packed well.

Great product! Well packaged. Taste very good, it does not have an acidic taste to it plus this olive oil is not too strong the flavor is just right. I definitely recommend it to anyone that knows how to appreciate good taste in olive oil as my family & I do. I will definitely continue to buy this product.

This is pleasant tasting, mild, clear running unassertive yellow olive oil with thin/medium viscosity which be great for cooking and salad purposes. It is smooth, without bitterness and only the very slightest pepper bite -- which I appreciate. I will happily put it to good use. However, because it is a raw, unfiltered greek olive oil, I was expecting it to be green, somewhat cloudy and thicker with a pronounced flavor for dipping and finishing. The brand I got just a short time ago through Amazon, Kasandrinos, was perfect for my purposes, but my husband guzzled it down so fast, I barely got to enjoy it. Unfortunately, it is now currently out stock. This Kouzini olive oil is not exactly what I had in mind, but as long as you are aware of what to expect, I think you will be satisfied with this oil. UPDATE: I have now compared Kouzini Premium, Unfiltered and Organic Olive oils to Kassadrinos. My favorite of all is the Kouzini Organic -- and of course it is sold out now both on Amazon and their website. Kouzini and Kassandrinos are operated by the same family. They are all good products -- but IMHO the organic is just that much better -- deeply flavorful without any bitterness, slightly peppery without harsh throat burn. Kassadrinos is a little bit bitter to my palette, which doesn't matter in cooking, but its noticeable in a side by side with the Organic and might be off tasting to those sensitive to bitter when used as a dipping or finishing oil. I've compared Kouzini Organic to the very expensive best selling gold medal Oliviers & Co. Italian IL Fornacino. While that is a perfectly pleasant oil, its sure not worth the extra expense. The Kouzini Organic is better tasting and a better value. Its a deeper yellow/green color and decidedly more flavorful. I hope the wait for the new harvest of Kouzini Organic becomes available soon. In the mean time, I have to hide my one bottle left of the organic (my husband just guzzles it.). I just bought the Kouzini 3L Premium for everyday use in the meantime..

High polyphenol content from SINGLE SOURCE PRODUCER. Nice color and aroma. Description says unfiltered but did not notice any unfiltered content in bottle. This Kouzini variety uses Lakonia Olives. Nice peppery burn which indicates good polyphenol content. I use EVOO in salads, dipping, cooking and a nightly shot for health. I have been doing this nightly before bed for seven months and have noticed that I fall to sleep much easier. It has also remarkedly improve inflammation in my lower back. There are good YouTube Videos on taking EVOO on a daily basis.

I ordered this as this is one of the gold winners listed on the EVOO competition held every year in New York. I of course have high expectations and this did not disappoint me. The taste is very exquisite, and the dark green color in a nice dark bottle keeps the phenols well protected. I put this on everything and even my kids love this. I will definitely reorder when I go through my order. I lived in Germany before I move here a few years ago and I am spoiled for good quality olive oils there and this one is one of the best you can get here in America, for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend to give this a try.
