Decided to try this olive oil because we're always looking to introduce organic products into our cuisine. Additionally, we really enjoy the Kouzini Unfiltered Raw Extra Virgin Greek Olive Oil. This oil exhibits a robust olive oil scent but unfortunately loses something on the palate, leaving a dry straw-like aftertaste. Perhaps the disappointing after-taste is due to a bottling issue? We'll give it another try on the next vintage.

I am very happy to have found this product from Kouzini. I was very pleased with the smooth Robustness and freshness of this product, I am clearly sold on the fact that not all extra virgin olive oil is created equally, it is good to know their are growers out there that truly care about healthy organic products that the Kouzini is and you can taste the difference. I will be buying their products in the future & again if I didn’t stress it in my title Wow Wow Wow!!!! If you are looking at this review you should be saying this is the one I’m buying too. Most of the olive oil you find in the stores is blended with products I avoid, like canola and other seed oil. If I want blended oil I can and do blend them myself with ingredients I trust. Californiaa ranch was my go to affordable pure oil, I've also purchased other domestic oil from same sourced groves at a little higher price. But alas, California ranch is now blending some of their oils so I've decided to try some other brands. The one I mentioned was not bad, it was very strong and I usually mixed it with other oils if I didn't want it to overpower the dish. I decided to try a bottle of kouzini. It was love at first taste. This oil has just the right balance of peppery spicieness and smooth olivey goodness. It didn't have the bitterness of the other brand I tried. I liked it so much I went to the kouzini website and made an account. I ordered more of the evoo unfiltered and got a big can of the evoo that is filtered. More economical that way. I hope this company continues to produce single sourced oil from their groves. Their olives are unlike any other.
