I have wide windows and a new larger television that is more affected by glare; while we have blinds, they are cumbersome to use and each window pane has a separate blind (4), which was time consuming. Decided to take down the valance and put up curtains. Bought some at Kohls but wrinkly and not wide enough. These are great - no wrinkles right out of the package. Bought 2 packages (4 panels) and sewed 2 panels together to get the width I needed. Great at blocking the light. Easy to close and open. Appearance is nice. Only issue was a difference in length of 2 panels, uneven by 2 inches on one side, which I will have to fix at some point but for now can't see it. ... show more

The layout of my home office makes it impossible to put the computer anywhere but in front of the window. Our window faces west and after 1 pm. the glare from the sun causes eyestrain when working on the computer. I bought regular curtains, then added a cellular shade under them. Nothing helped. These curtains make the room completely dark. The outside (facing out) is the same color as the front (facing into the room), which is nice and more attractive from the outside of the house. They slide easily on grommets. It is a fairly heavy weight polyester-ish fabric that looks nice. They do come tightly packaged so mine have some wrinkles but I'm not picky - I assume they'll hang out eventually. All in all, this finally did the job - my office is SO dark when the drapes are drawn that I can't walk into the room without stubbing my toe unless I turn the overhead light on. ... show more

Nice set. They come with 2 panels… the gold color is kinda like an old gold. I got them for my whole house.. I have high ceilings so the 96 inch curtains were perfect. Blocks the light great. Beautiful silky heavy curtains. Only reason for the 4 star is because the grommets for the purple curtains should be bronze instead of silver. The silver stands out too much. If they change that or give the option for different grommet colors, I would by again.
