Once upon an eclectic, amplified electric neon time in the unsordid world within the 1980's, situated in the midst of stirrup pants, pumps, pegged jeans, concert T-shirts, Cosby sweaters, enormous hair (thank you, Extra Extra Super Hold Aqua Net), Creepers, fingerless black lace gloves, arms laden with bangles & Swatches, Sperrys, Izods, Joop! Homme, Poison Dior, (actual) music video television, and Nagel prints, trendy teens and 20-something's wore what was then called, a "TUBE SKIRT." Usually acquired from the "it" mall shops like, Esprit, Benetton, Merry-Go-Round, or Contempo Casuals; Whether you were preppy, punk, gothic, metal, Madonna-wanna-be, or deriving fashion inspiration from Denise Huxtable, we all shuffled around in a tube skirt, had them in every color and styled them in our own unique way. Here it is, the TUBE SKIRT, in its simple, classic form, maxi and without slits, as they should be. Jersey knit cotton material (yes, its real COTTON), with just enough % of stretch. Quality construction/stitching, and figure flattering wide band fold over waist. Whether worn folded or unfolded, it's sort of like built in shape-wear & smooths the tummy area. You will not be taking long strided steps in this skirt, (rather dainty steps, like a Geisha girl), but it's lovely and can be styled a hundred different ways, (just browse through pintrest for styling inspiration and you'll want one in every color). It did take what seemed like forever for shipping, but once it finally arrived it was worth the wait. The material is thick enough to wear in winter and thin enough to wear in summer season. It's totally versatile, I mean, it's a cotton tube, it's simple and wonderful. It was hip in the 1980s and still hip (or hip again) in the 2020s. For reference, I'm 5'0, 107 pounds, small hips & slightly curvy booty, and I ordered the size small and it fit perfectly. The hem touches the ground, but when i pull it up and fold the waist over it hits my ankles or the top of my feet. It's ultra long and that's how I wanted it, so i can wear the waist band folded over on my hips. If you're taller it will still reach your ankles. You can also fold it over several times if you want and it's still not bulky material. If your weight is over 110, I recommend sizing up, This tube skirt is meant to be slightly loose and drape straight down, not body-con tight fitting. Enjoy!

Just wish the material was a bit thicker because with my first purchase of the same skirt in a shorter version it shrank a bit after washing seemed thinner. Otherwise I absolutely love it for the fit, the look, the feel & fabric.

Very simple, useful piece to have in wardrobe. I did size up from a large to x-large as I did not want to to be too form fitting, and it fits comfortably. I am usually between a medium and large in most things, so it does run small in my opinion. I am 5'8 and the length is to my ankles. Material seems high quality, not flimsy or see through. I love that it is mainly cotton. This is a staple in my wardrobe and will get much use. Thinking of going back for more colors.

I ordered a large and an extra large in this skirt the extra large actually fit smaller than the large so I sent the extra large back and kept the large one that being said it is a well made skirt not much walk room but it’s comfortable and it’s very pretty

These skirts are by far wonderful-- wonderful in material, design, quality and fit. I love them and will purchase other items as well. I'm very impressed with the quality of the skirts. So very well made. The orders arrive and I am always so excited to receive my package! Can't wait to open it and try it on. They are very comfortable. Material does not require a slip. Can dress up with heels, sweater or dressy top & scarf and/or can dress down with flats and casual top. Cool and relaxed fit. I just love love love them!
