I purchased this monitor for work purposes. I can't offer any insights on gaming, but I can give pros and cons in other criteria. Pros: 1. Compatibility- Once assembled, I connected the monitor to my Mac for the first time in less than a minute. There was seamless compatibility between the two devices. I encountered no glitching of any kind. 2. Picture Quality- When doing work, I see no issues with the quality of the picture. I was able to read and type without complication. The monitor even includes different viewing modes for gaming, cinema, and eye-saver (to reduce optical stress from staring at a screen). 3. Included Items- The package includes an HDMI cord, which I thought was very satisfactory considering the low cost. While I have to use an HDMI to USB-C cord because I have a Mac, it's beneficial to have an extra HDMI cord at hand. 4. Value- I am very pleased with the incredible value. Koorui makes high-quality monitors for a low price by not including speakers. For working, I see no need for speakers. However, even if you do need speakers you can always connect a soundbar, stereo system, or even a portable speaker to your computer to get sound. Great price for a great monitor. 5. Design- This monitor does not look like something you could purchase for this price. It has a sleek and simple design with very little border around the screen. Furthermore, the size is great for the price they are asking. I was amazed by how large it was! Cons: 1. Assembly- The instructions on the box and manual for assembling the stand were difficult to read and the portrayed pieces did not match those delivered to me. I was better off just assembling off of common sense. 2. Picture Quality- I wouldn't recommend this monitor for cinematic purposes. The picture quality of videos is definitely pixelated. I got the KOORUI 27" monitor on sale for $109. It'll be serving as a real-time video display at our booth at GenCon Indy in a week. • The base goes together AND comes apart again very easily • VESA mount is good, 75mm x 75mm (about 3" square) • It comes with an HDMI→HDMI cable, very handy! • Very nearly borderless, looks so clean! Perfect for our displays. • The picture was crisp, bright, and color-correct. • When displaying 60fps XSplit video (Logitech BRIO input of me drawing with markers) the picture looked just as good as it did on our 2018-ish Vizio 4k TV. • Surprisingly lightweight. Once I got it all set up, the monitor and stand weighed about as much as the box and the styrofoam. Again, perfect for a traveling display (we're saving the box for safety in transit.) We're not using the audio features so I can't speak to those. Also, the colors and brightness were exactly what we needed straight out of the box so I haven't messed with any of the brightness/contrast/color buttons. And that's fine. I don't want to. We're spending upwards of $7,000 setting up shop for a week at GenCon Indy. Being able to get a sweet 27" display for $109 ($117 after taxes) will help us (hopefully!) turn a profit at the convention. ... show more

    • Pleasantly surprised for the price

I bought this monitor because of the price, and because it seemed to have favorable reviews. I took a gamble buying a monitor whose brand I never heard of. I didn't intend to use it for gaming or anything. I just wanted a basic monitor to connect to my server and for a graphana display. I was not disappointed. The mount is cheaply made, yes, but it works. The display itself though was far more than I expected for the price. It has a crisp, clear picture and I've had no issues. My only gripes are the stand, as I said, and that it requires a DC power brick, not a standard PC power cord. But it's VESA mountable, which is how I intend to use it. So yeah, it's not the best monitor ever, but for the image quality and the value for price, I can't justify removing a star. It is a very good purchase for the price. I'll definitely buy more. Not to be dramatic, but I believe Koorui has set a new standard in gaming monitors. The 170 HZ refresh rate, QHD resolution and beautiful IPS panel are not only cheaper than competitors but in my experience perform even better than big name brands like ASUS. The monitor stand out of the box is also much more customizable than many others out there and I have no need to buy a different monitor stand. 10/10 ... show more

The KOORUI 24.5 Inch FHD Gaming Monitor is an excellent choice for gamers. The Full HD resolution and VA panel deliver vibrant and crisp visuals, making the gaming experience immersive and enjoyable. The 1ms response time ensures smooth and lag-free gameplay, while the FreeSync & G-Sync compatibility enhances the graphics quality. One thing to note is that I encountered an issue when connecting the monitor through the DisplayPort. Whenever the monitor went into sleep mode, it would occasionally restart upon waking up. To avoid this problem, I recommend using the HDMI port instead, as it doesn't exhibit this behavior. Aside from that, the monitor's features are impressive. The 144Hz refresh rate (via HDMI) and 170Hz refresh rate (via DisplayPort) provide smooth motion and reduce blur. The sRGB color gamut coverage of 99% ensures accurate and vibrant colors. The monitor is also VESA mount compatible and allows tilt adjustments for added convenience. Overall, despite the displayport issue, the KOORUI 24.5 Inch FHD Gaming Monitor offers a fantastic gaming experience with its high-quality visuals, fast response time, and advanced features. ... show more
