** UPDATE 11/20 ** I have been wearing these mostly every day for several hours at a time since my original review and have also even taken my dogs for several brief neighborhood walks. I will be treating them with some weather-spray (purchased from Ugg several years ago) for the upcoming snow and otherwise have no complaints. Seriously loving the color too. ** ORIGINAL ** After tossing my 15 year old tall Uggs last year 🥲, I had been considering getting a few short pairs instead of the tall boots this time for color variety and ease in pulling on and off in the winter. I was interested in these because of the affordable price in comparison and they truly would be every day boots that I didn’t want to baby as I would with a standard Ugg pair. While these do not have the same “toe-swallowing inner cush” you get with the standards, they are still cozy and warm none the less. Generally feel to be a bit thinner, but the overall quality looks to be Ugg standard. I do like that they offer half sizes too, as I generally aim for a half size up so that I can wear thick socks if needed. So far I have worn them for multiple hours around the house / running errands and they have been comfortable I like the color too! A classic well rounded staple. For the cost I am pleased with them as I fully expect for them to last at least 5 fall/winter seasons here in the Rockies. ... show more

My boots came in today and I was excited to get them. They looked smaller than I expected. They were the right size, so no issue there. I'm sure they will need a weather treatment to protect them. When I tried them on, I was very nervous because the material didn't give much and I struggled to get my foot in. I tried again and finally got them on. Took a little wiggling and effort. Once I got them on, they fit great! Plenty of room and comfortable. The interior is super fuzzy and plush. They are very warm too. Where they are initially tight to get on is the seam where the shaft meets the boot. Don't let it discourage you at first, just try again if you run into it. It's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. ... show more

Not much to say, other than I have purchased this color and style (Koolaburra) before and in comparison to those previous Uggs, when these newbies arrived they appear to be just as nice as my previous pair. The quality and comfort of the Koolaburra Uggs are surprisingly high in my opinion. I had my previous pair for many seasons and I'll admit, I abused them and yet, they held up well! I mean, I never treated them with waterproofing and they still looked pretty darn good. I am expecting the same this time around with my new boots and I will be waterproofing them this time *wink. When I got my new pair, I was impressed by the packaging and these seem to be made with a lot of care. It also helped too that when I purchased my Koolaburra Uggs this time, they were on major sale! SCORE! Personally, I think you can get the Koolaburra Uggs, save a bunch of money and get exactly the same quality, style and comfort as the old fashioned non-vegan boots. I wanted new UGGs for weekends at the ice rink, but I didn't want to spend the money on the originals. These are an amazing alternative. Outside of the label at the heel being different, I can't tell the difference. They're still incredibly warm, and they have the same form and firmness as the originals.
