My initial affection for these boots may be tied to the blizzard and 15 degree temperatures that arrived just one day after they were delivered. During which the boots performed well. But I’ll also say that straight from the box these boots impressed me with their overall quality and detailing, especially at their price. I can’t say how they compare w Uggs, which cost 2-1/2 times more. I bought these through Amazon’s Try Before You Buy, which showed me that my normal size 12 was too small with my thick or even medium socks, especially at the instep. I hate ordering clothes online, but can never find a decent winter boot in the stores. Tried online last year and what I got was too small. These fit perfect, and not too bad to slip on (I have large ankles and wide foot). Overall very comfortable and keep my feet warm. They are also very light so you don't really notice them. Only cons I see is that there is no arch support, so standing for long hours is not recommended, and the foam rubber sole. I suffer from feet swelling but no matter how much they swell I can at least slip on these or my Ugg’s furry slippers. They are warm comfortable and as far as I can tell made as well as the ones from the Ugg only line. Will update review as I wear them.

In the interest of full transparency I made fun of men buying UGG like footware. I am now eating crow because these are, by far, the most comfortable fall/winter boots I’ve ever worn in my life! The fit chart was spot on for me. They require no sprays or other treatments to be water repellent. I wear these out and about, to the gym when it’s snowing (I change shoes at the gym) or around the house on chilly mornings.
