This is a great looking pool cue. I’m blown away by the black and white with diamond shell inlays. They make the cue look awesome! There are hints of patches of black where the original wood is showing that gives it a little black glittering hue. Don’t think that was intentional, but gives the impression, this cue is unique. It looks so cool, I’m worried someone is going to steal it. Definitely not something I felt comfortable just leaving out on the pool table unattended. The shaft was straight. It plays solid. Recently, I had been playing a Meucci Sneaky Pete with a red dot shaft. I never really got used to the flex in the Meucci red dot shaft. I prefer pool cues with a stiffer shaft. My first impression was that the shaft and butt of this Konllen cue appears to be a slightly smaller diameter than I’m used to, but maybe that’s an illusion due to the black color. Not something I noticed when playing. The shaft of the cue easily screws into the but, and I’m reluctant to tighten it down too much for fear I will over do it. Also the butt end has a rubber bump stop that screws out to put in additional weight. The way it’s designed it accepts an extension. It too easily unscrews. Didn’t notice any issues while initially playing. Hopefully there are no longevity issues with those connections: thus four stars- but maybe just unnecessary paranoia. ... show more
