Considering you get poles, snow shoes, and a light nylon case for under $80.00 the expectations shouldn't be high. But these snowshoes seem to be a good value for the money. This is our first experience on snow shoes so we don't have any comparison experience. But we could strap these on and hike for miles, with few issues. The straps did loosen a couple of times under stress and maybe could be a bit better, but they work. At first we didn't understand that the latch actually ratchets and will tighten the strap. I recently purchased a pair of snowshoes for myself and my husband saw how much easier it was for me to walk to and from work in the snow, so he decided he needed a pair as well. He is now in-love with these snowshoes. They fit him perfectly and he loves the color. They are lightweight, but the quality is high and they are well made. This set of snow shoes came with the poles, the snowshoes and a nice canvas bag to carry everything in or to store everything when you are not using the snowshoes. Light weight snow shoes my brother enjoy hunting and I thought if he had a pair of snowshoe it would make it much more easier for him to go to his tree stand for hunting he love that these are very easy to put on and take off and super lightweight

The media could not be loaded. Last year when I would visit my friend in the Pacific Northwest he would take me snowshoeing and it was so much fun. I found out locally here in Pittsburgh and in New York there’s quite a bit of trails that are Greta for snow shoeing. Try the side of this year to bite the bullet and buy a pair they said has everything you need goggles trekking poles and the snow shoes included as well as a travel bag which is nice if I ever visit my friend in Seattle to go snowshoeing and this will be easy to pack. I do not love winter but live in Western NY where we can get snow for up to 4-5 months a year. These snowshoes have really helped me enjoy a season I normally don’t enjoy. They’re easy to put on and it was a pretty quick learning curve for using them. I stick to snowshoe paths at local parks so I’m not sure how they do for hiking in rougher terrain but they are excellent for me as a beginner. ... show more

The quality of these snowshoes seems good, sturdy, and lightweight. It's easy to carry with the included bag. There are some plastic materials I am not sure how long they can last. So far so good.

The item we received is not what is currently advertised! It DID include all advertised items (carrying tote, poles, glasses, etc.) but the snow shoes themselves did not have the back strap that secures the heel. Our kiddo's feet kept coming off the shoe no matter how well the front straps were locked. We had order these precisely because of the back straps, now we're looking again, might have to go to a store. ... show more
