I have been playing it for a few hours and the sound through headphones is OK. As a practice piano it is more than adequate. The keys are full size and velocity sensitivity is good. Some minor quality control issues. There is a small piece of plastic stuck in the display window that I cannot dislodge but small so that I can still read the display. The carrying case does not have a compartment to hold the power cord and sustain pedal. If put in the case they will press against the keys. I plan to take it in hold baggage when I travel so not a real problem. The piano sound is good and when matched with another voice like strings it is a pleasure to practice with. It has a metronome which is also good for practice. Sustain pedal does the job. ... show more

My daughter loves it as she wanted to learn piano. It Suited the purpose I wanted. I have a piano but we can't always use it but this Portable keyboard solves that issue. Color was very in depth, thickness was on point, and very very durable. Won’t slide around either because it has a grip on the bottom. It’s perfect for her. The sound is ok, but for the price it’s good (it’s a little electronic sounding). It has a lot of options for sound (church organ is excellent). Comes with everything you need, bench, stand and even headphones and a mic. She is teaching herself to play piano using an app. Changing melodies is a learning curve though. It still looks great and not oversized. Very well made, and does not look cheap. Would definitely order again! ... show more

I bought this to teach my kids how to play the piano. I ddin't need an 88 key version but because we travel a lot it helps that this is foldable. The one thing i really wanted was to hook it up to a DAW. I just hooked this up to Garageband on both my mac and iphone and it works great. I originally i had very bad lag but after some googling around there was a config i set which eliminated the latency. So now I can get the soundbank from Garageband (or any other DAW) and create music while my kids can still use it to learn how to play. The native sounds from the keybaord aren't the best but for learning, it works well. The fact that i can play with wirelessly is a plus. ... show more

The quality is that great, Very satisfied with the piano especially with the price. The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic keyboard. I was dubious since I thought the folding section was a gimmick that made it look more like a kid's keyboard, but I was mistaken. Yes, it folds and becomes quite portable. When the bag arrived, I was concerned that it would be too tiny to accommodate the keyboard, but it fits wonderfully. This is an excellent keyboard for use in a dorm or other tiny settings. The speakers on this keyboard aren't particularly good, as predicted, but you can easily use your own headphones. The piano keyboard comes with 129 tones, 128 rhythms, and 30 demo tunes. bluetooth MIDI function, trans, syncho, sustain, and dual voice. The music you play may be recorded, edited, and saved. First, the cons: a linen instead of smooth finish on white keys is very distracting. Some of the black keys were hard to depress. Beginners don't play black keys very much, but others need better response. Pros: Great size and weight for travel (88-key versions will not fit well in hotel, ship, or yurt). Light-weight pedal will probably need to be replaced eventually. Good connectivity to computer/music software. Lots of sounds and other gimmicky items. Piano sounds like a radio playing the piano, but this is a light, foldable instrum. so you can't expect a 6' concert grand. A good buy unless you actually know how to play and need a responsive practice instrument. ... show more

I bought this item to take it on trips to keep practicing my lessons, here is my take away: Strengths: - portable, fits into a carry-on bag - semi-weighed keys, gives you the sense that you are playing piano-like - many different sound options Weaknesses: - occasional drop of the keys not working (which has been reported by others) - keys are smaller than the piano so the spacing is different - the sound is modest, even with a headset, does not easily recreate the piano experience. ... show more
