They've withheld washing and haven't become loose or lost any softness. You get a huge selection of brushes for any make-up need. I love my brush kit and would definitely buy again. Great for beginners. Not the softest.

Not the softest brushes I have purchased. But as a gift for a beginner, it is great. These brushes were great for my niece who is only starting to get into makeup. If you want the highest quality, softest brushes, that’s not what you’re getting here.
