Just what I wanted. Nice looking, lightweight glasses that I could just leave on and not remove whenever I looked up. But then somehow I twisted one a little bit and a lens fell off. When these arrived, I was concerned because of the poor packaging. Each set of glasses was inserted into in a soft case, and they were shipped in a soft envelope. That clearly didn’t make sense to me, I mean, come on, these are eyeglasses being shipped in the midst of hundreds of other packages on a truck! That said, I can’t say enough good about these readers. I have 8-10 pair now (I lost count) in all the colors! I pair had an unevenly set nosepiece, which I returned. After my cataract surgery, I still needed something for reading. I’ve always been sort of a frame snob, so my search for cute or fun frames led me to order several readers, on the hunt for the best ones. Most of those, I’ve returned for various reasons. These half-frame readers fit my criteria perfectly. The comfort level is great, giving me a comfortable feel. They are very light weight, and surprisingly durable. The lenses are nice and clear, unlike some that come with cheap plastic that gives me a headache. The frame colors are really nice, I have them all except the orange and yellow ones (different sellers sometimes offer different color choices) Having no frame at the top of the lens is perfect for watching TV while having your phone in your lap. They rest midway down your nose, so you can easily watch tv without an annoying frame hitting at your line of sight. Going to the grocery store with these readers allows me to read labels without taking readers on and off aff through the shopping experience which makes shopping so much easier. <edit>For some reason, I am not locating any text noting the power on the glass frames themselves, which is kind of disconcerting, as I need to differentiate the two different pairs.</edit> I really like these half readers, first off. I need them for work and I walk around a lot but also need to read at times. These help me in that I can see distance and also use peripheral vision around me. I have a big head so they fit small, though that works out well for me. They are in my sweet spot for reading, yet allow for distance and peripheral viewing. Regular full-size reading glasses blur my vision all over, so I trip a lot or have to take them off. These, I can keep on and avoid tripping, if needed. The frames are a bit delicate but I like the wire ear pieces, as they are somewhat adjustable. The plastic part can be pulled out a bit and slightly bent to grab behind the ears. Careful if you do this, as the end cap ear piece plastic can come all the way off and requires a bit of finagling to get back on. This is my second set. First set I lost one pair and the other one's arm eventually broke. To be fair, I do keep them in my pocket when I don't need them at all and my job is a bit phisical in a distribution center setting. However, the recent set I purchased had one pair with a bent arm and the nose pieces where out of whack and upside down. I had to carefully bend them back into shape, worrying weather or not I might break the fragile metal at the attachment points. It would be nice to have them shipped in a small box instead of a bag. Partially Amazon's fault, but the manufacturer should reconsider replacing their own plastic bag with a box of sorts. Less plastic, too and slightly better for the environment that way. All in all, they work great! The optics are superior for inexpensive readers. One pair for home and the other for work. ... show more

I purchased 2 pairs four months ago, I am very hard on glasses, I came here today to share my experience, that after tossing them around “lens side down” on every table in the house, and sitting on them (oops!) — they still look brand new!
