My daughter was a grooms-maid for a good family friend and wore this blazer for a more feminine take. It. ROCKED. Definitely between cardigan material and professional material. It really worked for a more petite fit because of the cut and the ruffles; every other "normal" blazer would've needed alterations. I was very unhappy with this jacket. The structure of the jacket was lacking so the frilly edge laid very flat and just made the jacket look biggie on me. It did not have any structure to the top lapel as well so it just looked very cheap.
