Bought this to replace my 5,000 Stromberg Carlson electric tongue jack, that the shaft rotated on, causing my drop foot to no longer be clocked correctly, and I’ve seen lots of reviews that this operates slowly, but considering the gear ratio needed to provide this level of lift, I find the slower operation absolutely understandable and acceptable!

Fantastic trailer jack, ESPECIALLY for the listed price—this electric trailer jack is a very worthwhile upgrade that makes towing and trailer setup far more convenient. It’s well-built with solid, heavy-duty construction, a weather-resistant finish, and a sturdy housing that inspire confidence it will hold up through regular use in all kinds of conditions. The 7,500-pound capacity gives more than enough strength for our heavier trailers, and the motor runs smoothly and consistently without struggling under load. Lifting power is excellent, so hooking up and leveling is noticeably faster and easier than cranking a manual jack. It’s also very adjustable and fits the trailer well. Built-in lighting is a nice touch for hitching up early in the morning or after dark, and the dual-wire setup made installation straightforward. Overall it delivers strong performance, solid durability, and real value for the money. We provide machines and trailers for Burt contractor, had broken the manual hand jack, replaced with this, and it’s now the envy of the other techs who are sti hand cranking their trailer jacks. We’ll be upgrading many more as necessary when the old ones break/bend or lock up. Absolute game changer for constant on/off the truck and adding a small back-up battery maintained by the trucks power when connected keeps it charged for times when it’s not direct connected to truck - add the battery!

I replaced a smaller model with this one and it was a direct replacement. This is a really nice tongue jack, quiet, fast and buttons are easy to sort out. Very easy to install, 3 bolts and 2 wires, perfect fit. This one is definitely over kill for my trailer but I think that will make it last a lot longer vs one that is just enough to lift. This very durable shell and a manual handle if you need to crank cause your battery is dead. Great value for the money, I shopped around a little before I order this one. Works perfectly and clearly isn’t struggling to lift highly recommend!

This electric trailer jack is being used on a camping/rv trailer and it is most helpful. The installation is pretty straightforward but the instructions are lacking. Maybe there’s a link somewhere or we didn’t get the paper instructions. Probably most people buying this would be able to figure out how to install it or find videos on it. You need to know the wiring on your trailer so it would be different from person to person. This jack is solid. It came with all the hardware to mount it and all parts needed. It does have a handle too in case you run out of power and need to operate it manually. There is a pin on the bottom and several holes so you can adjust the height this needs to travel to start lifting so can speed up the process. It’s a little slow but adjusting the bottom plate helps a lot. It has to be wired into 12 v DC. Ours was wired directly into the 7 pin plug on the truck. It needs to be grounded too which was done by grounding it to the frame of the trailer. A cover comes with this too. This is going to replace the old and harder way that we used before. This is a nice replacement and addition to the camper.
